Wow!! The class celebrated my birthday today!! Almost the whole class contributed.... was really glad to have heard that... cause that means that I have very good 'ren yuan'...
Actually they were supposed to play a prank to me... by not talking to me the whole day.... budden the whole morning I was sitting beside my band frens... and they din know about the prank... so I din suspect anything... den Wen Dtin forgot abt it... so she talked to me also... Esther also gave up and talked to me... so end up like the prank was backfired... only Wee Keong and Soo Chin ignored me... but not to a large extent... so when the clique told me abt the trick, I was quite surprised... hahah... stupid Royston... go suggest the trick to them... but he understand me very well... cause he knows that I would be very paranoid if no one bothers to talk to me ... hahah!!
I received very nice presents nonetheless... had a LB II VCD as well as a wallet... cause WK thinks that I am trying to ahpekfy myself by having a leather wallet... so they are trying to restore wad's left of my youth back... really nice of them to spend time to go buy my gifts... thanks!! Candice was very nice as well... gave me something too... so must remember to give me somethin dring her birthday!! Only sad thing was that the card they were trying to give me was being circulated too slowly... so they only gave me the envelope.... next week den can collect the card...
The class was really nice... sang me a birthday song rite outside the bio lab after school... I sort of guessed they would ding it in class... but just when I tot I was saved when school was over, they did it... quite embarrassing but it was really nice of them to do so... quite touched....
Well... this was a really memorable birthday... cause its the first time my class had celebrated it for me... gg to remember it for a long long time... so lucky to have such a nice class!~

Wah today (actually yesterday lah, since its after 12 now) is a really exhausting day... had lessons all the way to about 7 pm... started the day horribly with a GP comprehension practice, which I couldn't finish, cause I talked too much in class... den ended horribly with a really exhausting PE session... had 3 stations... modified sit ups, shuttle run (WORST!!!) and running up and down the stairs... wah... and the worst part was when I weighed myself again, I've realised that I've gain weight!! So unbelieveable!! Did so much vigourous training and yet I gain weight. Den during holidays I ate so much never do any training maintain my weight. My body must be horribly mistuned...
Well, after the class schedule, I had an extra Chem makeup session as well as 2 hrs of maths remedial. Chem was quite fun, but pressuring as usual.. think WK really cham... always bullied by Mr Gwee... budden Mr Gwee teaches really well lah (but a bit too fast)... so can 'let him off' for bullying my 'best friend'... hahah... wait till WK sees this... he will be puking!!
Maths was quite fun also lah... esp when I found out that I am not in the remedial programme!! But I will still go lah.. cause my math so weak... and den my holiday assignment so poorly done... hope Mr Lim see already dun be too mad at me... cause I really leave a lot of blanks!! Really ALOT!!
Well.. got to finish up my GP stuff and go sleep liao...
Auf Wiedersehen!!

Just tried 2 tests from emode.com.... the results and my thoughts are listed below...
1. What's Your Back-to-School Destiny?
- You are destined to be an academic.
You've got a good head on your shoulders and you're not afraid to use it. You probably pay attention in class, study hard, and like knowing the answers. And that's a rare talent this early in life. You're ahead of the curve in realizing that schoolwork is about more than learning because you have to. You're smart enough to realize that learning is really cool and actually does apply to real life. Hitting the books is just the first place to go before hitting your stride and making your mark in the world.
So as you're picking up on the latest in ancient Mexican ruins, mathematical proofs, or learning how to build the next greatest space ship, just remember: Don't leave your friends behind. Everything's best when it's balanced. Make sure you even out your academic side with a big jolt of fun as well. You can't be brilliant in a vacuum, so grab all the experiences you can to make this your best year yet!
Thoughts: Ya rite!! If I am destined to be an academc, I wouldn't have gotten DEOO for my promos liao... and I can never seem to keep up with the lectures!! Studying is like a nightmare... and believe it or not, everytime I cram to much stuff in my head, I vomit... den I get severe headaches, and then I forget everything... if only I can be an academic...
2. What's Your Stress Style?
- You are an overreacter.
You're an Overreacter. Putting you in the ranks of professional worriers everywhere, your stress style makes for a very dramatic life. You tend to imagine worst-case scenarios whenever possible — in some way, picturing the most severe outcome even feels comforting. But while stressing out before problems occur gives you a sense of control, it can also be exhausting (not to mention time-consuming).
Reacting sharply to stress may also make you prone to angry (even violent) outbursts. Reining in your knee-jerk reactions could help you get this tendency under control and make you a less unpredictable person to be around in times of trouble. So, chill out a little ... we promise the sky won't fall if you stop holding it up!
Thoughts: Hahah... very true!! Its so accurate!! A lot of ppl like Soo Chin, Yee Ching, Wee Keong, Rachel, Huixin, Royston, Tzyy Yih have commented this before and this list can go on and on and on... dunno when I've inherited this very bad trait, budden its really horrible having so many things stress me up... I constantly think of so many bad senarios and my mind is filled with so much negative thoughts!! Better go change my mindset, if not will fall into depression sooner or later!!

I have finally completed my SAT!!!
After a gruelling (yah rite!!) 2 day practice, I've finally taken my very first SAT exam!! So commendable, considering that I din die of exhaustion or something... The paper was only supposed to be 3 hrs long (emphasis on 'only'), budden it dragged to almost 5 hrs!! And the stupid invigilator only gave us 5 mins of toilet break throughout... Imagine doing section after section with a bursting bladder, not to mention fatigue, since I slept for only like 5 hours...
However, all these seem like nothin as compared to the paper... it was so TOUGH!! It is actually quite similar to taking the NAPFA test in a sense... do-able, but unpassable... so I guess I have to start registering for the next one again... Haiz... wad to do... my English so poor...
Budden, looking on the bright side, it had some highs as well...
1. It was a fresh experience, cause I haven done it before.
2. Its the first time I am taking an important test (that I can think of) outside of school.
3. I met a few friends, like Haobo, Joy from CO, my OG friend for 1 and a half days, which is now in Royston's class and my ex wushu senior from Cat High (he din recognise me).
Well, I was so exhausted after that I can't really remember what happened later in the day... except that I kept sleeping in awkward positions, like in the car seat, on the couch whilst sitting and on the sofa in a wierd half cross legged and half lying half sitting position... sort of like the Laughing Buddha (I think)... which is pretty embarrassing considering that I was in my auntie's place and there were quite a number of people there.. but I was too tired so I din bother abt it...
I remembered watching a lot of TV shows as well, cause my auntie's place is wired up with SCV... and then my dad started watching Phoenix Channel, so I started to join in as well... It had very interesting variety programmes... actually I only watched 1, but it was damn long, like about 4 to 5 hrs!! But quite nice lah... got a lot of comedy actors dressing up as women...den a lot of friendly games between unknown celebs and stuff...
Finally, the highlight of the day... I was offered the chance to sit on the massage chair that my aunt bought... not just any normal chair, but the latest OSIM music therapy massage chair... which cost a hefty 5000 grand!! Well, it was really cool cause the massage is synchronised with the music, and it works with any CD.. and it was really very relaxing!! Din want to get up... but no choice... had to let my sis try... cause before that I sort of sat on her and squashed her glasses (not serious.. fixed it back), so I felt sorta guity and so had to make it up to her...
Well, so that's it for now.. pretty looking forward to tomorrow, cause my relatives are all coming over to my house and I can't wait to let them try the electron releasing massager... sounds cool but it feels like thousands of needles prickling your sole and the sensation goes all the way up the leg... bound to give them a lot of fun... hahah... can't wait!!

Just came back from visiting... actually din visit much... cause I only went to my auntie's house in Choa Chu Kang.... den the people who came were all my direct relatives... so it was more like a family gathering instead... but with red packets!!
Well, today wasn't really that good... cause I din actually do much in my auntie's place... cause I had to study for my SATS... Argh... who actually studies on the first day of New year?! Well, but it was okay... cause there wasn't anything much to do besides studying... Cause the only TV in the house was occupied by my cousins playing on the x box... which leaves me with nothing to do... except study... I played a bit of poker as well... but it was really short... like half an hour... and I ended up with the same amount of money as before...
Budden, did something different this year... I went to visit Huilin.. cause I really had nothin to do... was bored to tears.. so went to visit Huilin at her void deck.. she had wanted me to go over to her house but I refused... cause I felt really awkward... so we just talked at her void deck for about 40 mins... she was very nice... and gave me a lot of oranges... and we talked for quite a lot...
Well after that, I FINALLY got control of the TV.. and watched Chicken Run... it was really a cool show and quite touching as well... the only bad thing was the adverts... so LONG!! and so MANY!! Really very anti-climatic... but it still beat doing nothing earlier...
Well not really looking forward to tmr... cause not doing any visiting tmr... cause I have to study for my SATS... sianz!! This is the first time I am not doing visiting on the second day... really a bit sad... haiz... just hope that I can do some visiting on Sat, after my SATS!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! Finally, its new year.... looking forward to this day for so long.. cause this year, being the year of the monkey, is supposedly my lucky year!! So hope all my wishes will come true, and my bad luck will dissipate away!!
Anyway, yesterday was a really good day... Well first of all, I finally handed up ALL of my maths holiday assignment, which was really a feat, cause I had been staying up till around 2 plus for the past few nights to complete the assignment.
Then, I enjoyed myself during the CNY celebrations, which included music, play and dance. Also, I managed to pass the cards to the teachers, who seemed genuinely happy to receive them. But the best part of all was going back to Cat High.
I often go back to Cat High, but this time was the most interesting of all... Firstly, I received a big red packet from my old form teacher... even though he wasn't married yet... which was really nice of him... den met my old class... and managed to talk to them for a while.. den saw the rest of the teachers and talked to them... and den Royston and I had a long (really long) talk with Ms Zalinah... and it was really nice.. cause she haven taught us for like 3 or 4 years, but she still remembered our names, which was really nice... and then we talked about a lot of things... well... actually, Royston and I were really complaining a lot... about school life and stuff, and Ms Zalinah really listened to us... and din like seem uninterested or wad... which made me feel very glad... must remember to get her a card for teacher's day!!!
Den, Cheng Jong, Tzyy Yih and I ate with Mr Heng and a few of the ex Cat high band ppl... which was rather exciting... and was the first time as well that I ate with a teacher outside of school. We discussed a lot about band and I managed to talk quite a bit...
Well, I had my reunion dinner as well after that... it was very homely and the food was really great!! So many dishes and all were really tastly!!! Hahah... looking forward to visiting my relatives later...
And best of luck to me in 2004!! And everyone who reads my blog!!

Wow... realised that I haven updated for like close to 1 month!! The holidays passed by so quickly that I din realise it was gone by the time its gone... and worse still, I dun even noe wad I have done during the holidays... but I will try to recall and summarise the activities I have done...
- NIE band practices
At first I really hated NiE band pracs, cause its like really far... all the way in Boon LAy... must take like 3 hrs to go to and fro... budden I really liked it in the end... cause the people there are really quite good... and that the band practices are really shory... but the most impt thing is... I get Saturday off, meaning that I can get to go out with frens on Sats!!
- CHS band concert
Well... it was a pretty good experience... cause for the first time, I am playing for a concert as a member of the alumni!! Actually was supposed to play Fantasy Variations one... budden at the last min got cancelled... cause too difficult for the main band members... so sad... cause I got a lot of interesting parts... but it was fun nonetheless... Well, HX, Nicole and Rach went to watch the concert... under my influence... hahah... cause I was a very good player... of course!!
- Shows @ Esplanade Library
Wow... ever since I discovered that the esplanade library contained very valuable treasures, I had been dragging ppl to enjoy them with me... These treasures include Riverdance, Lord of the Dance, Feet of Flames, Dralion etc... they are just simply so interesting!! Budden I can't sae abt the ppl who were tricked into watching the shows with me... dun think they really liked them... Well never mind, cause I lurve them!!
-Late Nights
One of the highlights of the holiday... late nights!! Lurve them!! There are like millions of nice shows at night... but got no chance to watch them during school term... so had to grab the opportunity to watch them during the holidays... got so many shows!! Like Guess3, Jacky Show, Charmed, Amazing Race repeats.... so many I cannot list them down... and there were like so many special programmes, like ALEGRIA (great!!), Irish Christmas (special footage on irish dancing), lord of the rings specials, Teen Choice Awards, Miss Teen USA... haiz... really miss the days where I could just watch TV till 3 at night and wake up at 1 the next day... cannot liddat now... cause I have responsibility now... to score for the A levels... but... good memory though!!
- Reading Sessions
Near the end of the holidays, I suddenly had this book craze... I borrowed quite a number of books to read... and I read day and night.... the routine was like... wake up, eat, read... bathe, read... dinner, read... sleep. I was finishing at an astonishing rate of one book a day... quite think summore... den when I had no books to read... I turned to fan fiction... just read and read and read... till 4 or 5 in the morning... den sleep... really fun...
- Movies
I got to catch a couple of movies during the holidays, but the more memorable ones were Return of the King and Scary Movie 3... very nice... the first was really spectacular and had breathtaking scenary.... the latter was really funny... I suggest everyone shd go watch these movies whilst its still on... I watched a couple of VCDs as well, like The Princess Diaries, Monsoon Wedding, Serendipity, Varekai and more... this is wad I call relaxing!!
- Yodogawa Techical High School Band
Well... this is techically not a holiday activity, cause it took place on Jan 2nd... but I was still in a holiday mood... at first I really din want to go one.... cause I dun really like to attend concerts... but after going to that concert, I was flabbergasted... cause its really great!! The best I have ever attended... the highlight of the entire holidays... they were just... that good.. and highly entertaining... no one expected the band members to dance.... but they did... and with such enthusiasm and precision... really breathtaking....went to support them the next day at bukit batok... still very good... din disappoint me...I really enjoyed their performance...
Okie... got to go liao... cause need to go take a nap... just finished PE... horrible!! more like a torture session... run like mad... if got time den update later.... see ya!!
