Wah... went to school so early today lor... reached school at 8.30 lor... cause my dad volunteered to fetch me to school... so got to school half an hour before target time... pretty bored whilst waiting for Soo Chin at the stone table... so sort of listened to music (Riverdance of course!!) and took off my glasses to rest (I can't see anything w/o my glasses... only silhouettes... suddenly thot I heard some1 calling my name den saw some figures in front of me... so I waved eagerly... later when I put on my glasses, I realised I dunno them at all!! So embarrassing!! Summore they sat at the stone table beside mine... so pai seh!! Had to sit with my back facing them lor...

Studied with Soo Chin till 12 noon... she ah... always talk about that person... still wan to deny... obssessed already lah!! Hahah!! But have to say that the stone chairs are not exactly very comfortable... sat until my bum hurts!! Hahah!! But cause we kept on walking around the school so it wasn't so bad lah...

Bio lecture was really nice... summore dismissed half an hour earlier... so got consumer surplus... went out with Soo Chin and Shufen after that... couldn't decide where to go lor... at first decided on Tiong Bahru Plaza, den changed to Geylang, den Bugis, den Far East Plaza, den Heeren... in the end went to Plaza Singapura (cause there got a***** mah!!) Not bad lah... we went to Yamaha music store and looked at some instruments... saw the alto and tenor recorder on display... really missed playing recorders!! My real interest!! But its okie... I will join NUS Pipers' Guild in future... really looking forward to that!! Bye bye band!! Anyway, after that we toured those furniture shops again... saw a lot of really really nice beds... esp those with very high bed posts and with fabric everywhere... pretty mystical looking... hahah!! Den went to Spotlight... looked at the many many reels of ribbons and the cloths on display... den talked about prom night... dunno whether shld go or not leh...

After that we were trying to find Mr Gilbert Lee's shop... saw this shop called Barang Barang... so shocked at the store!! So high class lor... den Soo Chin remembered that it was some parang store, not Barang Barang... that store very SEAsian... the furnitures all very antique looking... not exactly my cup of tea...

Anyway, after that had to follow them to look at hair accessories and jewellery and clothes... so embarrassing to be looking at such stuff lor... summore kena made fun of by then again... kept on saying that I was the one who wanted to buy all those stuff... so loud summore... and Soo Chin kept on doing her 'finger stunt'... trying to influence me lor....

Had dinner together after that... actually decided on Long John, den changed to MOS burger, den Burger King, den KFC, den Bruget King, den back to Long John Silvers again... hahah... ate till quite full... after that walked a bit more den went back home...

On the MRT, SC and SF kept on debating about someone... den started comparing the looks of people... hahah... althou SC din seemed very convinced at wad SF said.... got cheated by them again... once morefell into their trap and took the MRT to Yishun station again... wasted four stops lor... hahah!! But I too soft hearted already... always got taken advantaged of... hahah!!

Okie, gonna stop here... got other stuff to do... haiz... just realised that there will be band tmr... summore no Chem tutorial... so have to go to school at 9am for band prac... dunno wad we are playing tmr... hope is sectionals, althou unlikely... but kinda miss my bass clarinet lah... so its okie... see, I contradicted myself again... wadever.. hahah... if there is time later den I blog again lah!

Yeah. I am still awake at this hour. Actually fell asleep at 10 plus pm... budden my mum woke me up at midnight to pack my bag... could n't sleep after that... hahah!! So now I am here, practically doing nothing... except chatting with CJ via msn...

Missed the show I wanted to catch again... so sad!! But after missing so long, I dun really feel like watching it already... hahah... if I have time next Sun den I watch... but highly doubt lah...

Hahah... still listening to Miracles Happen... think I listened about 20 over times today... but still find the song very catchy.. bet the song will just keep gg and gg when I try to sleep... gonna have a tough night tonight!! Okies, gonna sleep now... tmr have to wake up at 7 plus to go to school... good night ppl!!

Wah... slacked through the whole day today!!! Really not in the mood to do my work... think its pretty bad of me to do that... after all my common tests are coming soon... think I have to work harder from now!! Anyway, watched that 3.30 Channel U show again!!! Pretty interesting for the first half an hour. Learnt some new tricks again! For example, if you have stains on your clothes that cannot be washed away, just simply dab some glue (yes, glue. Those transparent glue used for sticking or for art and craft.) over the stain and wash it. Its supposed to remove the dirt really easily!! And, you can make ur own think corn soup like those campbell soups really really easily. Just add pieces of white bread, milk and corn into the blender and blend it till its of think consistancy, bring the mixture to a boil and add corn inside... um... yummy!!

After watching the show, got pretty tired... so called Shufen... we chatted for a while, for slightly more than 1 hour... hahah!! Actually we din really talked about much stuff... just crapped a lot lor... cannot even remember wad we said just now lor... bad memory... except that I remembered that we talked about wad we usually talked about. Not that I really remembered wad we talked about just now, budden I can still vaguely remembered that we talked about that, cause we always talked about that. Well, not that I like to talk about that, but she likes to talk about that. Dunno why she likes to talk about that. Well, in conclusion, we talked about that but it was just a fragment of what we talked about. Just that I remembered that part we talked about. Vaguely.

Hahah... sounds confusing?? Just wrote that down to confuse the readers.... cause just now when I was blogging my netscape hanged... so a bit pissed about having to blog all over again...hahah!! Well, its really useless stuff.. you can just skip that part.

Anyway, just now wanted to watch 'Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon' budden missed it again... actually Channel 8 has already showed that movie 3 times, but I still couldn't get the chance to catch it... think I am not fated to watch it... but its okie, dun think I will like that show anyway... hahah!! Have I contradicted myself again? Dunno why, always contradicting myself recently...

Oh yah.. going to school earlier tmr... cause if I continue to stay at home, I will most prob just slack my day away... so reaching school at 9 tmr den study with Soo Chin... that same place again... cause its bright and breezy, unlike the Oasis or the Raintree... think will study till 1.30 den go for bio lect... after that maybe will stay back to study again... hahah... that's a super great way to spend my holidays... having to come back to school everyday is so pleasant... esp when I can read thru my thick piles of lecture notes and attempt my tys questions which are approaching infinity... oh I lurve my holidays!! NOT!!

Anyway, Soo Chin is gonna ask the question tmr... when I heard her question I laughed so hard!! Really very funny!! Hope that I wun laugh tmr when she asks the question... hahah!! Still laughing now...

Din get to go online after watching Miss USA 2004, cause really tired already after watching the pageant...

Wow, this year's pageant is much better than last year's... it looked much more glamourous and more in-style... but think that last year's introduction was more humourous... with the state winners literally spinning in and introducing themselves... really funny!! However, the delegates this year weren't too impressive to me... and there weren't really any personal favourites for me... maybe except Miss Florida (she really looks like Kristen Dunst!! Summore her name is Kristen somethin one), Miss Washington (She looks very executive and confident... very modern!!) and Miss Oklahoma (In contrast, she has a very shy and gentle look... her evening gown was very special too!).

Althou it was really interesting, I was really really really tired... and I actually fell asleep after the evening gown segment and only woke up just before the announcement of the winners... so I actually missed alot in between... anyway all of my favourites din win... so pretty sad... usually my personal favourites wun even make it through the first round one... think I dun have an eye for beauty... hahah!!

Well... woke up at 11am just now... so I effectively slept for 11 hrs... but now pretty tired again!! Haiz.. always sleepy every Sunday... actually there are a lot of very interesting shows today... budden my parents wun be going out today, so dun think I can get to watch them today... cause my dad will start suan-ing me that watching tv is more important than studying (if he is in a good mood) or start yelling at me to start my work and that I dun regret if I start scoring bad grades (if he is not in a good mood)... budden studying doesn't mean that I must study for every single minute mah... so guess I can only get to watch tv at night.. but its not too bad also, cause there will be interesting shows tonight!!

Hahah... just watched the trailer again!! Really very good!! Can't wait to go watch the movie!! Have waited for the movie for 3 years already... hope that it wun be a disappointment... but wonder if I can find people to watch it with me... after all, its only going to be out in end Term 3/early term 4... if not have to watch myself lor... but its okie... after all, its my favourite movie!!!!! (Althou I am not supposed to like such movies)

Anyway, went for CIP in the morning... woke up at 6am lor... so tired!!!! Had to practically drag myself out of bed! Anyway, reached Outram Park at 7.25am... budden I din noe how to get from the NEL station to the North-South line station... so walked for like 15 mins around in the station with Jacq... in the end finally got there... by the time we were there, the queue was already so long lor!! Summore its really very stagnant... due to the large no of queue jumpers (but cannot blame them lah... cause we also jumped queue... but we only got like 3 places in front of our original position only whereas the rest just went straight to the front)... anyway, Jacq was complaining abt her heavy tote bag so I had to carry for her lor... no choice wad, I gentlemanly mah!! Budden think I look really silly carrying that bag...

Finally got my tin can after 1 hr... the person in charge actually deducted our hours lor... cause she din count the queueing time as part of the CIP hours... so suay... should not have taken NEL!!

After that went to do the donation thing with Rachel and Nicole... went to City hall and Orchard... there were only like a bunch of people there lor... so could get much donation... after like more than an hour later, we sorta gave up and went over to Plaza Singapura for breakfast... after breakfast I was really tired... so we went to do some shopping (as in they shop and I tag along) instead... hahah!! When we were in music junction, I saw this really cool pair of Sony headphones... but quite ex leh.. so even thou liked it a lot but still din get to buy.... after that we went to look at some furnitures and stuff... saw a lot of really cool furnitures!! Den I was like telling them wad kind of furnishings I would like and stuff... its really fun to be thinking of how my future home will look like...even thou it would be at least 10 years from now... hahah!!

After that went over to Times bookshop... cause Nicole needed to buy something for her sis... anyway, saw four really interesting books... the book's content weren't really interesting lah but I really liked the covers!! Couldn't help but imagine how nice they will look as paintings on the wall of my future house... hahah!! Think I really going nuts already... must watch less home improvement shows from now... speaking of that, realised that there will be "1 house 2 looks' on Monday... think I have to record that before going for lecture... yay, can't wait!!

Finally, we went to Bishan after leaving Plaza Singapura... the 'Bishanians' were really very nice... donated a lot of money... received a lot of notes summore!! But the shock of the day came when I approached some1 to ask for donation... when that person looked up, I was UTTERLY SHOCKED!!!! He was actually my AJC ex-classmate!! Think he was quite shocked too to see me too... cause after I asked 'Would you like to make a donation?', he looked so distaught and quickly walked away... we din even exchange words lor...that's how 'close' I was to my ex-AJC classmates... we just pretend that each other's invisible... how cool is that?? Actually my first 3 months seem so surreal that I sometimes question myself if I had really been to AJC for my first 3 months...dun even keep in touch with a single one of my classmates lor... well maybe except one... but we dun really exchange msgs or wad lah... just will bother to greet one another when we meet... really cool rite?? Some1 like me was actually a loner in AJC... summore was despised upon by people that kind...unbelievable rite??

Anyway, after quite some time, we went over to Cat high... cause I wanted to show Nicole and Rachel how it looked like... really missed Cat high... the teachers too.... they were so nice... then after that got CJ to join us... and we went back to Bishan MRT station again... oh yah... and Nicole found a new crush!! He was also doing some donation drive... but was for another organisation... but he was those kind of really help on his own accord kind... not because of CIP... oh, and he is a caucasian... think he's British... from his accent... and he reminds me of Jamie Oliver (yes, him again)... we started chatting and stuff and Nicole seemed really smitten with him...

Fast forward a little... soon it was 5pm and we went back to Outram... after returning the cans, CJ and I went over to PS again cause I really wanted to get my headphones... so I got it (really quite pleased with it) and went home...

Recently dun really feel like blogging too long... dunno why... think its because I am sleepy... or dun want it to waste too much of my time... anyway think I will try to write longer blog entries next time... anyway, there is Miss USA 2004 at 10pm... have to go watch!! I have always like to watch pageants since I was really young... so really looking forward to it... hahah!! Think if there is time later at 12pm I will come back online... ppl on msn try to wait for my arrival hor... hahah!!

Wow... today is the last day of the term already!! Finished 330 periods of lectures and tutorials already... time passes so fast!! Now left with a few months to prelims and A levels and half a year to... NS. Dunno whether I shd be looking forward to the june hols or not... really scared I slack too much... think I will go back to school everyday lor.. so that I wun be able to slack... actually rather have lessons... haiz... just hope I can have the motivation to pull through the June hols...

Anyway, pretty alright day today... a bit jittery during lessons lah... well its the final day of school... can't help feeling different... and time really seemed to crawl today...

From here onwards I will just provide a brief sketch... cause really tired liao... want to go sleep soon...

Shall forward to after bio prac.. met up with CJ after bio prac... he so punctual this time round!! Came straight at 5!! Think its the first time lor... hahah... den SC started bringing him around to see some 'interesting stuff'.... always trying to humiliate me...

After that went to Coronation Plaza for dinner... had to bluff CJ that it's a really high class shopping centre and that we gg to restaurant... think he really surprised to see the place we went to... hahah!! Den later went back to school to meet up with TY...

Think that Canoris pretty cool!! Saw harmonica band, guitar and ang klung play for the first time!! Cause usually band is the last musical group to perform so now finally get the chance to watch!! Althou a few parts were quite disappointing.... had a lot of fun shouting the names of our frens... overall think it was a pretty interesting concert!!

After that had to walk the main gate... cause side gate not open liao... den took bus with CJ and Wen Dtin... that's how the day passed today...

Tmr will be a really long day... have CIP (flagday) in the morning at 7.30am... think will last all the way to the evening... hope I wun get too exhausted!! Oh yah... just realised that the trailer for my favourite show is online already!! (shall decline to post the name of the show here, for fear of embassassment!! Btw, its not Harry Potter.) Wad a long day today!! But it wasn't too bad lah... started off the day pretty well... finally got the chance to play 1st clarinet!! So fun I have to say... got to sit first row!! Haven sat in the first row for so long!! Think the last time I did was for the Cat High 'Aesthetique' Concert in sec 4... cause at that time I was still a prized possession... so could sit 1st row number 1... which was the best seat... hahah!!

Actually I was late for band again lah.. den summore Haobo had to go for some competition... so I couldn't get a reed... so had to wait for quite some time until I could get Benson to give me... pretty wierd lah.. cause when I was qm last time, I could take the reeds any time I want... guess this is the disadvantage of being a second intaker (think you noe wad I mean)...

Anyway, by the time I've got it, it was already tuning time... got perfect pitch again without tuning!! Not bad!! Well even thou I played 1st clarinet, I didn't have enuff time to memorise the score... so had to play the morning assembly pieces with the bass clarinet score... hahah!! It's so exciting to play the clarinet, think I will play again tmr... even thou J2s no need play... but tmr could be the last time I play for morning assembly... so think I will make the effort to play one last time...

Managed to finish my math tutorial during GP!! Very happy!! Cause finally I can attend a math tutorial feeling less guilty... cause finally got some work on the table... now on my way to catch up on all the work that I had missed... actually there is a lot... so have to start slowly... but I am really making an effort!!

The lessons breezed thru really quickly, I must say...hours of tutorials and lectures just passed so quickly!! Hahah.. summore I wasn't tired at all... althou I slept for only like 3 hrs the night before...

WK very funny during PE today har... say dunno wad so loudly on the track rite... summore still say until so liu(2) li(4) already... very interesting rite... and I must say... its DEFINITELY not motivational hor... I run fast cause I dun want to hear that phrase hor... it wun work during napfa one!!

After school just sorta walked around the school with SC... she had to run a couple of errands... anyway just now Soo Chin found out a big secret!! Think she shld be pretty happy... anyway just now when we were taking 852 together with Shufen, SC realised that she lost her wallet... she thinks its in the CO room... hope its really in there... very mafan to lose wallet one...

Anyway can't wait for tmr!! Got Tzyy Yih and Cheng Jong to come to NJ to watch Canoris!! Think will be very interesting lor... haven been out with them for days!! (Not a long time actually) No choice lah... Cat High rules mah... Can't wait for Canoris!!

Wah... got framed by Soo Chin and Wee Keong yet again... made me so scandalous lor... actually I am very innocent one... now seems that I am always flirting with everyone I see... people, please dun believe hor... its all not true!! Dun sound very ridiculous meh? Do I have the tiao jian to flirt? If I do I would have long been attached already hor!! Summore just now got 'blackmailed' by Wee Keong to take 852 all the way to Yishun... I too soft hearted already lah... so agreed... on the bus still kena made fun of by Wee Keong and Wen Dtin... Hahah!!

After that we went northpoint for a while... over there saw one of Wee Keong's ex... and WK ditched me and Wen Dtin to leave with his ex lor... left me and Wen Dtin alone... hahah!! Actually wanted to go Northpoint to get a pair of headphones.... cause mine is spoilt... really missed listenin to Riverdance whilst going home... made the journey so fun nicer!! Anyway, couldn't find one that I fancy... so went shopping for earrings with Wen Dtin (for herself) instead... the salesgirl even mistook me for Wen Dtin's bf lor... she said "Ask your boyfren to choose for you lah"... so embarrassing!! Pian(2) yi(2) Wen Dtin already... cause I have such good qualities... it's her good fortune if I were her bf!! Hahah... but no such luck for her... I am her dad remember??? Give other girls the chance... hahah!!

Okie lah... got to go take a nap already... afterwards will have tons of work to do... if not later sure fall asleep one... just like yesterday night... anyway, really looking forward to tmr's morning assembly... cause I will be playing the clarinet tmr!! My bass clarinet is sorta spoilt... for the past few days couldn't really play the morning assembly pieces well... so tmr will switch to clarinet!! So exciting!! Haven played the clarinet for so long already... people, you all must support me tmr hor!! Could be the last time I'll be playing the clarinet in NJC... hope I can be first clarinet tmr... so fun!!

Was reading thru Shufen's recent entry about JC life... think I really have to agree that JC life is terrible!! Tons of tutorials that will never be completed, tests after tests and loads, I mean LOADS of mugging to do, sandwiched between other activities such as intensive physical activities and CCAS...

Have to say that JC life is really a whole world of difference from secondary school life... I can still vaguely remember the fun that I had during Cat High days. As we had to attend lectures and tutorials with other classes for humanities, it resulted in me going to Cheng Jong's class (4/7) for history and Tzyy Yih's class (4/1) for social studies and geography class... still remember going to CJ's class and watching a whole lot of people swear in the most colourful languages and fights going on that test for skills such as agility, versitility and creativity. Tzyy Yih's class was much more civilised... budden our tutor was really bias against the people from my class just because we did not take triple science... so would always pick on us... we never got praised for anything, instead I think I was always being scolded for talking to Tzyy Yih all the time...

Royston and I were always together... and we would spend most of the free time chatting away... would discuss anything under the sun, such as who's geography teacher should be the subject head, what exciting programmes were showing on TV and stuff. PE at that time was really tough, think tougher than NJ's PE, but at the same time it was fun too... cause we would try ways to slack during PE... like when it was time for soccer, we would try our best to duct the ball, or laugh whilst looking at people play... always enjoyed doing the aerobics during block PE... so fun!! Royston would always think I am mad... cause I was always so enthu during ACES Day...

Oh yah.. loved the cai fan in the school!! Really very tasty!! Recalled putting a lot of chilli on my cai fan... very guo yin to put alot... had this routine.. would buy my cai fan (think its sze chuan cai, chicken in dark soy sauce and another dish) and then get a packet of green tea... den would eat till I get really hot and sweat alot, den I would go to the snacks stall and get a packet of Wang Wang... it was like the miracle cure to the spice... eating that always helps to cool me down... really enjoyed my lunch breaks then...

Band was really really fun compared to now... cause I had a pretty high post, I would sorta abuse my position and skip drill sessions... think its pretty bad of me to do so now... but band drill sessions, esp under my seniors, were really not easy... a lot of pumpings to do!! Esp when I was in the exco.. means having to do double the pumpings (at least better than the 3 heads, who had to do triple the pumpings)... meaning I had to pump like at least a hundred times and stuff... but havin a post was great too... meant that I had the ability to pump people too... and my punishments were really not too lax too.... hahah... think I was really a slacker throughout my secondary school life... but really enjoyed it (my secondary school life lah... not the ability to slack!!)

Actually I feel that NJ life is really pretty good already... most people think its bad cause they hadn't seen other college life... I was from AJC... and I hated every single day of being in AJC... I was pretty unfortunate... being put in this class that were really hostile towards me... they would never include me in my activities... still remember this girl that would always say really mean stuff about me and classmates that would pretend to be nice and talk bad abt me behind my back... as a result I began to drift away from them... free periods were spent alone in my tutorial class and during lunch breaks, I would almost be certain to eat by myself, if not for occasions where I could sit with my cat high frens... it was really that bad... I could just keep quiet for the whole day and no one would care... no one would want to do projects with me and the little conversations me and my classmates had were really limited to 'wad lesson is after this?' or 'any work to hand up'? Absolutely no one wanted to sit with me during lectures, so I was pretty much alone during lectures too... I was basically invisible to them...

It may have seemed pretty impossible to believe that I would have such a life, but its true... people always commented why I would be walking alone everytime they see me.. and I was to embarrassed to say that I was being outcasted... so always had to think of excuses why I was alone... anyway, I really treasure my time spent in NJC as unlike the people in AJC, NJCians are really so warm and helpful... and I am really touched at times by the class for being so nice to me... sometimes when I think about the troubles I face in life, all these small actions are the ones that will brighten me up... for I noe that there are people out there who sincerely care...

Thus I am always willing to lend out a helpin hand to people who face a lot of problems... cause I was previously liddat as well... think that I never really had a good childhood... was always taunted by my primary school teacher who would beat me up every single day and call me crude nicknames, often taken advantaged of in my secondary school life and being outcasted in my JC... but I really seldom dispaired... as I feel that without hardships, I will not be able to treasure the luxuries that I would be having, for example like now... I really appreciate my class and if anyone has any problems, I would really want to help if its within my capabilities... hope that I can at least make a difference by helping...

Does it sound very cliche? Hahah... but I am really very sincere about that hor!! Really... I will try to help as much as I can!!

Have to say that things din really go too well today... the clique has some problems yet to be solved... resulting in wad happened today... had chem remedial after school... wad was supposed to be a half hour lesson dragged to 1 hr... but quite expected already...so pretty alright with it... but think some not too glad, cause tmr still got Chem test must study... but at least dun have to wait for S7C to finish their lesson before we could have ours... so not bad already...

Well, hope tmr will be a much better day than today and that everyone will feel less demoralised and less stressed... think too much studying is really doing no good for the class... but wad to do... exams are coming...

Remember just now when I said my dad was applying some face cream on my face? Now I look like a mouldy orange...

Okie... this is my second post for today.. think have to keep it short... if not will have no time left for my bio assignment!! Having a pimple outbreak recently!! Argh!! Just when I feel that my face is getting better, this has to happen!! Think have been sleeping very little this few days... hope it gets better soon!! Really in very bad condition leh... summore my dad keeps on urging me to pay my mum's beautician a visit... Den keep on applying really cold wierd cream on my face... and its not even like a little... its like blobs of it all over my face... so now I am looking somewad like a cross between a miserable snowman and the scary white mask in The Phantom of the Opera... summore just now when my dad was applying the cream, my head bumped into his knee!! How painful!! Think getting a concussion...

Actually having pimples are also not too bad lah... cause at least it means that I am still youthful... sounds rather cliche... but I have always been commented that I look older than I am... once my neighbour asked if I just returned home from work, den whenever I go to the barber for a haircut, they will forever charge me adult price, and will often ask about my day at work. Always get approached for credit card offers. (this I dun mind. Cause it means that I look affluent.) Worst still, once I took my sis (3 years younger) to her school's CCA carnival... and then she was being pulled to the girl guide's corner. One senior girl guide actually said to my sis "Ask your dad to come along and see as well." Am I really that old that I can have a 13 year old daughter (at that time)? Do I really look so mature???

Well, getting back to today, have to say that today is a pretty okie day... think that all the lecturers must be really happy today.. cause had early dismissals for ALL lectures today... Mrs Khoo was very lame today... was talking about sludge during industrial biotechnology lecture den suddenly said "If you all dun pronounce sludge with the 'ge', it actually sounds very awful..." We were like speechless... but it was really funny... everyone laughed so much!! Den she said there was this thai pop singer who had an infection by coliform bacteria, den said she dunno the name cause thai ppl have very long names. And she even called on Cleopas today... cause she was talking about reeds and said flutes have reeds.. den asked Cleopas if his instrument has a reed (she said he played a saxophone when he plays a clarinet)... pretty funny lecture!!

Well anyway on the subject on pastries, have anyone tried using premade puff pastries to make pastries. Well, it may not sound so good cause afterall its premade and can be bought outside, but it actually is a really good dough for making pastries. Cause puff pastry is made up of a lot of layers of dough and when you bake it, it will rise really high and taste wonderful!! You can get puff pastry at all leading supermarkets.

Sounds pretty advertisement-like... well anyway, went out with Soo Chin, Shufen and Wee Keong after school to Northpoint. Actually had no intention of going there... cause wanted to take bus 156 back home, den can sleep on the way back... budden waited for one hour for Shufen to end school so asked them to take 852 with me. Well, it was also because I always got cheated by them to take bus to woodlands den take MRT back to YCK station and then 72 back home... so this time round wanted to ask them to take 852 instead and then alight at YCK station...

Actually we had a little bit of a conflict even before Shufen arrived... sorta quarreled over something that has been happening for quite some time already... when Shufen arrived the squabble was pretty bad already... and everyone was tired and so everyone took turns to unleash at one another... actually not one another lah... just unleash at SC lah... and me to a certain extent... but I was unleashing too, and ... well its really pretty complicated... rather hard to blog here whilst trying to censor the details...

Anyway, we took 852 together... still squabbled a bit... and everything just quietened down... think no one wants to talk abt it liao... well besides that, I was being cheated again... actually wanted to get down at YCK station, den kena blackmailed by Shufen abt them not taking 852 again... think I pretty soft hearted... so agreed to take to Khatib... budden they said they wanted to go to Northpoint, so I got cheated again... went NorthPoint with them...

The later part of the bus journey was really pretty interesting... cause we saw this condo at YCK area... den I remembered about my wish to hold a condo in future.... actually I have already decided that I will purchase one ever since I was in secondary 1, I think. Remembered that I was always discussing with Royston in secondary school about the type of housing I will want to live in in future. Royston wanted a penthouse (if I remembered correctly) but I just want a unit... I wun want to stay in a terrace or semi-d kind of private housing... think the chores will be endless, and I have to say, I really have to wish to cohibit with roaches, lizards or any other insects.

Den I was describing to the rest how I would decorate my house in future and stuff... think Soo Chin thinks that its very amusing, esp when I talked about the carpets and the bedroom... she kept on laughing lor.... and was saying all kinds of non-sensical things... Also talked about my future plans... think I was really thinking too far already... really really very far... hahah... WK thinks that I am craving to get married... and they all agree that it will be really hard to find me a wife.. from my conditions... actually I dun expect much lor... hard to find meh?

Okie.. really got to stop here... have a lot of Bio hw to do... not really looking forward to tmr... cause after school there is chem makeup lessons.. summore still have to wait for 20 mins after school before the lesson can start... after that still have to go for a jog... this time round surely at least have to run 10 or 12 rounds one... hope Ms Lim can be more kind hearted... since I just recovered from my illness... well after that got to go buy something for some1's birthday!! Wah... think tmr will be really hectic!! Gotta go now...

For those who absolutely had no idea abt the whole chunk of paragraph of TV shows that I listed yesterday, no worries... cause I have found some pics on the TV shows and will post them here... maybe these will catalyse you all out there to catch these super duper interesting tv programmes... that's wad I call good TV!!







One House Two Looks is a programme hosted by Jane Lockhart and Jason Cass, both great interior designers in their fields. In every few episodes, they will pick two houses that have the exact same floor plan and every episode, they will do up one room or one area of the house according to a theme and after they have completed their projects, you will be wowed at wad miracles they did to their rooms. It's really interesting to see how the same room can look so different under the miracle hands of two different designers.

Always loved that show, made me want to be an interior designer. But come to think of it, Singaporean designers somehow remind me of Phua Chu Kang... *shudders*... think better not lah!! Anyway the theme music is absolutely wonderful!! You have to listen to feel the impact... one of the best music ever heard!!


Savoir Faire is hosted by Nik Manojlovich, a very charming host who used to be a manager of some hotel. Every episode will have a theme eg 70's party, and he would use the episode to decorate the house according to the theme, give party ideas, set the table (always very fascinated by the way the tables are set) and cook (recipes provided). Very interesting show... always had me captivated from beginning till end... well... will elaborate later on my next post...


Jamie Oliver... actually I feel that he is not really that great a cook, maybe its because the stuff he makes are not suited for asians... and I think the way he prepare his food is very la(1) za(1) one... like just chop any way he likes and dump the food in... and I just cannot understand a single word he says... his speech is very accented and will lou(4) qi(4) one!! Anyway, I watch his show because its usually at 11.30am or 12 noon, which is before my favourite shows... but its kinda interesting also... you people shld watch this when you are free!!

Wah... very sian now... cause there is still tons of work waiting for me to complete!! Really sad... cause I was slacking for the whole day... dunno why but just felt wrong today... the moment I woke up I felt really tired... and I was tired for the whole day... and I wasn't supposed to be feeling tired... cause I woke up at 12 noon... anyway, I was reading my lecture notes on my bed and fell asleep for a while... and it was like 1 hour after I woke up...

After I woke up, I read thru the lecture notes again and then, I felt sleepy again!! So decided to rest on bed and watch some TV programmes... caught this really great show (3.30pm on Channel U)... really interesting... hosted by Wang Yue (the Shan Cai mother in Meteor Garder) and Cao Lan (another very funny host with a very hoarse voice)... actually the whole show is very auntie one... think its like those afternoon programmes meant for housewives... but its really cool!! They give tips and tricks to normal house chores and stuff to ease work... really wonderful!! Today it was about how to remove the skin of tomatoes easily (seemed really easy on TV, but when I tried later I burnt my tomato), how to bring toothbrushes with out of shape bristles back to shape and how to make korean barbeque... really interesting show!! Everyone must watch!!

Just realised that actually I like to watch a lot of shows like this... I always like to watch Channel 5 programmes on weekday mornings on home improvement, home deco and cooking... shows like One House Two Looks (my ultimate favourite... Jane Lockhart and Jason Cass are my absolute favourite designers!!! Loved their interior designs!!), Savoir Faire (another great show!! Nik Manolovich is a wonderful host!! He has really great themes and very very good ideas!!), Designer Guys, Oliver Twist (Actually I think Jamie Oliver's cooking is not really that nice... his dishes really look very sui bian on tv... and the way he speaks like lou(4) qi(4) one... dunno why he so popular)... and other shows liddat... I really love such shows... can be glued to tv for like 2 hours at a stretch every weekday morning from 11am to 1pm... think in future either I become a great interior designer or a house husband... a house husband?? Scary thought!!

Oh anyway, after watching that channel U show, I was pretty bored and so went to cook dinner... just whipped up one or two dishes... haven cooked for such a long time!! Cause really have no time to do it... but cooking is really fun... really missed making pizzas and apple tartlets and desserts... always wanted to be a dessert chef... so cool!! But very wierd leh... study so much end up being a chef... well anyway, glad the holidays are coming... maybe can whip up smthin during the hols!!

After that, called Shufen to chat... she ah... always say I talk like somebody... but I do not... please dun anyhow say okie!! Hahah... so next time if I talk to Shufen must either talk to her in Chinese or dialect (the safest option)!! Anyway, chatted with her for about 1 hour... actually I cannot even remember wad we said, cause I've got really bad memory... budden think today I really sian.. called her like thrice... bet she must be really irritated...

After that... really tired again... so went back to bed... slept till 9pm... hahah... den did hw till now lor... just finished my chemical periodicity... at first thot we would be going thru food chem so was pretty happy... cause I fin till food additives already... but too bad gg thru inorganic chem first... so have to cheong my work.. later still need to touch up on my colloidal systems if I have the time den math and econs and bio... argh!! Really have a lot to catch up.. cause couldn't do much for the past weeks due to college day rehearsals and etude rehearsals... so now really have to work harder!! Hope this week passes quickly...

Anyway, there is band in the morning again... haiz... pretty tired of playing bass clarinet for so long already... maybe I can try switching to clarinet... really missed playing the clarinet... budden must go memorise their parts for morning assembly pieces... too bad cannot switch to playing clarinet full time... Mr Ho sure wun allow one... after all I am the SL of the bass section... how can I just transfer to the clarinet section liddat... but since he is not here in the morning, maybe I can try to switch to their section... hahah!! Den dun have to carry such a heavy instrument in the morning...

Okie... gonna stop here... have tons of work to do... if not tmr sure kena scolding by tutors... just realised that there is "Off Centre" tmr at 1.30am on Channel 5... used to watch it.. think it's a really funny show... think I will watch it tmr... that is if Ican finish my work by 1.30am... okie...really have to go now!!

Oooooo... someone finally has a blog!! Shall not say who that person is... cause promised that person not to link that person's site on my blog... must update more often hor!!

Hahah... shall talk abt my day today... woke up at abound 7.45am still feeling sick... think its because of wad I ate on Friday... but dun think I ate anything heaty wad... well anyway, got dressed and stuff by abt 8am and then followed my parents down to the city... so dun have to take bus early in the morning...

Had breakfast with my parents somewhere near Chinatown Point...had curry chicken noodles... really missed it... cause hadn't been to Chinatown for so long!! And, its really wonderful... so tasty!! The food was featured on Channel U's Food Train summore... even blogging now makes me hungry!!

After that, took the train from Chinatown to Douby Ghaut Station, den to Somerset Station... waited for about 15 mins before Hui Xin came and another 7 plus mins before Cheng Jong arrived... which then I realised that I was very 'sui bianly' dressed... cause they were like all dressed in proper shoes and long jeans and all I wore was a polo, 3/4 pants (those part nylon part cotton kind) and sandals... hahah... really wide contrast lor... I look like I was going to a beach lor (not that I will really go to a beach, haven't stepped on one for years!)

Well, we reached Cineleisure at 9.45am... den saw the reception counter whereby I saw the door gifts... it was... absolutely embarrassing!! It was a plastic bag with Nestle CoCo Crunch printed on it... inside contained a large CoCo Crunch Box of Cereals, Nestle 'dunno-wad' eclairs and a Shrek II Watch (please dun think too highly of it!! Its... for really, really, really, young kids)

Anyway, we redeemed our bags and went into the cinema... saw the Harry Potter trailer... not bad lah... den CJ asked me to go watch with him.. hahah... a lot of ppl has asked me to watch... SC, WK they all and my bass juniors...

Remember wad I said yesterday, the thing abt Shrek II only being a movie and stuff? Actually after watching it, I think its a pretty good show after all... really enjoyed the show... summore it was really quite touching in the end... felt rather emotional towards the end... but din cry lah!! Dun remember crying for any shows... anyway, it was cool... entertaining and very watchable... ppl you all shld have a go at this movie... guarantee wun waste your money!!

After that, the four of us went to watch Troy, at the same cinema... was looking forward to watching that show, due to the good reviews it received by ppl around me... and I have to say it was a shocker. Shockingly bad!

Well, you have chosen to read it, I guess... so read on then.

It was unbearable havin to sit thru and watch the movie... felt myself shifting around every few minutes... the show, which lasted for close to 3 hours, was boring, due to its lack of any development. The whole show focused only on the battle of Troy. Din show any other wars going on in Greece at that period of time, which was okie except for the fact that it really just focused on the battle.... battles after battles after battles... there were not really that much of development in the show... mostly about people getting into sensual acts, den killing each other for revenge... um... and I really dun find the show sensual and gory, unlike wad most people feel... I was like eating my Burger King thruout the show and I have to say... BK is pretty tasty...

Anyway, dun really feel that the armies in the show were very magnificent, well compared to another blockbuster like LOTR... and the choice of music was pretty bad... din help to magnify the sorrowness of the show... and it seemed like no one (in the show) were particularly upset at any deaths... and Brat Pitt really dun look like a fighter... that battle between him and Eric Bana really really really looked very bad... very bad.

I really dun wish to speak so badly of the movie... there were some parts that I liked... like the part where Helen and the rest of the Trojans returned to Troy and there were those celebrations and stuff... noticed that there were a couple of trojan womenfolk dancing in the background.... really impressed with it... so subtle!! Really brought out the joy of the Trojans. And the part where Archilles was speaking with his mother... her mother seemed really phophetic and wise. Could feel her sorrowness about the fact that he would die but still want him to go to Troy... very superb acting!! And Eric Bana's wife is a really good actress!! Really great!! She could really bring out the sorrowness in her... esp during the escape chamber way and the death scene... think she shd receive a prize for her acting skills...

Anyway, I think I wasn't feeling well during the show either... guess wad...I actually fell asleep for a while whilst watching the movie!! Really very tired... so just closed my eyes during the battle scenes (since they were so plentiful) and just fell asleep liddat... hahah... and it din help that there were 'superb' commentaries by two really loud people sitting behind me... who were laughing so loudly when it wasn't even funny!! Like the part where all the Trojans were discussing about the battle... how funny can it get? Anyway, they were laughing and laughing, and one guy would say 'shut up lah' and then they would laugh again. How nice of them. And, the commentaries they made were... well... pretty explicit. But have to say that one particular line they said was really very funny!! Still laughing now...

Come to think of that, I think Shrek II was really great!! I think the animated humans looked really human and I really like the costumes they were wearing in the Kingdom of Far Far away... so good!! And really enjoyed the puns in the movie, like the lord of the rings spoof and the one on the hollywood thingy... having the words 'Far Far Away' amidst the hills instead of hollywood... really funny!! And I think Julie Andrews provided very good voice over for the queen... and it was really sad in the end where they transformed back into ogres... and I think the role of fairy god mother was really well played!! Wonderful!! And the part about the special guests coming to Fiona's wedding ball was really good!! It was really like those red carpet ceremonies of hollywood... very good!!

Anyway, I left before the show ended... partly because I was really tired and also because my dad wasn't very happy that I went to watch another movie... yah.. so after that went back home and slept... feeling better now... okie... I've got to go have my dinner now...

Part 2 of Friday's Story

I was really shocked at the amount of flowers I received... the first one who gave me was Amy... pretty surprised to receive one from her... cause din even noe that she would be going... really nice of her to gimme flowers...

After that when I got out to the reception area, suddenly a lot of ppl passed me flowers... din even know some of the flowers came from who!! Hahahah... did come counting back at home... received 19 flowers... 14 roses and 5 daisies. I ended up carrying one whole bunch of flowers on my arms... think a lot of ppl were shocked at the amt of flowers I received (cause normally people received abt 2-3 stalks only)... can open flower shop already... hahah!! Also received a lot of candies and cards... Must really say thanks to Royston, Shufen, Wee Keong, Soo Chin, Joyce, Wen Dtin, Esther, Cheryl, Xia Xia, Agnes, Alene, Candice, Linyi, Weibin, Grace, Rachel, Hui Xin, Crystal, Anusha, Esther (J1), Shini for all the gifts and a big big big thanks to Hui Chuan for her bouquet of roses... really nice of her, even thou couldn't come for the concert, she still went all the way to VCH to pass me the flowers...

Think overall the concert was a success ... the atmosphere was pretty high throughout (but not as high as last year) the event and there were a lot of screaming and stuff... Soo Chin and gang very bold... screamed somethin abt me... made me so embarrassed on stage!! There were so many NJCians as well as teachers lor... if they hear that I sure in trouble lor... summore I on stage... if I can hear, everyone can hear... Hahah!!

Finally band concert's over... after that went back to school... later on the bus journey Anusha refused to sit with me again... saying she dun wan another hell ride... so I acted very pissed on the bus... made Esther and Anusha so hilarious... kept on laughing non stop on the bus...

Woah... have to say that NJ at late night is like night safari!! Cause saw a snake (yes a live snake) slithering at the oasis, a huge cockroach in the band room (really close to me) and a toad undermy dad's car... at first thot was a rock... then suddenly it jumped out... gave me a fright...

Okie... got to stop here... need to go take a nap... really tired now... shall blog about the two movies (Shrek II and Troy) that I watched just now later after I have awoken... good night!!

Just came back from school... so tired now!! Anyway, the etude concert was pretty interesting... shall start right from the top now...

Reached NJ at 7.20am... actually the band members were excused from school today, budden I decided to come to school, partly because I dun want to fall behind my work and partly because the rest of the members wanted to come as well... however, when I left home, I saw Lee Pei's msg that said that the rest of the band ppl not gg anymore... so no choice still came to school...

Finally had the chance to stand with the class for morning assembly... actually I think that standing with band is nicer than with class... cause the back of the parade square is less crowded and its easier to crap around with ppl... I was like so hot standing in the parade square lor... sweat just trickled down my forehead, arms and back... soaked up one whole packet of tissues in just like 10 mins...

Went for a total of 3 lessons today: Chem tutorial, math lecture and math remedial. Chem was pretty fun today... less stressed abt chem now... cause food chem relatively easier to understand... had to write down the answer to a question on the board... luckily Jacq din sae that I was writing an essay again... anyway think I was quite rude (again) to Mr Gwee... cause I was asking SC and WD and the rest if they want to watch Shrek 2 tmr (later I mean... look at the time!) den showed them the postcard (that I will explain later) and just left it on the table. Unfortunately, it caught the eye of Mr Gwee and I think he wanted to reach out and take the card... budden I just swept it under SC's book swiftly. Wasn't deliberate one, cause din wan him to see the reverse side... think I am very rude to him. Not long ago (think was Monday) I was about 10 to 15 mins late for his lesson cause I had to go puke in the toilet...den I knocked on the door pretty softly... budden din want to disrupt the lesson so I just walked in without saying anything... later Soo Chin asked if I was pissed or wad... cause I walked in w/o even greeting... but I really din mean to be rude one...

Anyway, math lect was pretty okie lah (this one cannot elaborate too much. It's Wen Dtin and I's secret)... could manage to stay awake for 50 mins... but the last 10 mins was really tiring... eyelids shutting... luckily I din fall sleep (as in I had ever fallen asleep in school before)

Actually I think I let down Mr Lim as well... cause I couldn't manage to complete the past few tutorials and had to submit late assignments... feel really bad about that... den just now during remedial I din do much also, cause I was leaving for band soon at that time. But Mr Lim was very nice, automatically lengthened the day of submission for my assignment. Thanks for being so understanding!!

Left for band at about 12 noon... budden the band room was still not open, so I went to the canteen to find Royston first... had a short chat with him... den went for band... at first wanted to conduct sectionals with my section... budden see like they very sian, so decided to pass them their rewards (the pretty ex drink) and told them to go over to the canteen to drink as a section... pretty fun lah... could bond with the section... den everyone started passing gifts around... Crystal bought chocs for the guys and Anusha bought Famour Amos Cookies.. den we just ate and drank together... summore still yum seng in the canteen... pretty loud... think attracted a lot of attention!!

After that started preparing to go over to VCH... did quite a lot of stuff... like moving percussion, checking the instruments for the section, making head counts, collecting money, distributing concert booklets, checking uniforms and alot alot more... finally could get on the bus... sat beside Anusha... pretty funny lah... kept on laughing thruout the whole journey... she still said smthin like its a bus journey from hell... am I really that bad? Hahah... I am like so nice to everyone lor!!

Had a horrible mishap at VCH... actually was just trying to help Rachel to screw the screws more tightly on her instrument, to make it easier to play, but in the end made it worse... until she could not play... felt really bad about it.... in the end could not pinpoint the exact screw that caused that problem... so had to use plaster to fix the notes...

Actually was pretty scared that Soo Chin, Tzyy Yih and the rest would come late... cause din want them to miss the first piece, which I personally thot was the best piece... budden in the end found out that they came on time... din miss anything... luckily.

The first half was pretty bad I thot, cause the audience kept on clapping at all the wrong parts, den I kept on sweating, my specs kept on coming off, den realised din check if my collar was neat, the salivia kept on dripping of the barrel, and the conductor even conducted wrongly!!

However, the interval was great.. received a lot of flowers...

Okie got to stop here... really fatigued... tmr den con't

Anyway, the Shrek postcard was given to my father by his company, which deals with Nestle products. The reversed of the Shrek postcard was attached with 4 free tickets to an exclusive screening of Shrek 2 tmr (or later) with free door gifts and breakfast reception... finally found 3 people to go with me... budden not really looking forward to it... cause still must travel so far... think not worth it for a cartoon...

Hey ppl, those who are coming for the concert, please do not be late!! The first piece is really fantastic... missing it will be like missing the whole band performance... must remember hor!!

Wah... really tired now... actually wanted to do some hw... budden not really feeling well (again!!)... so shall sleep earlier to recuperate.

Well, so I guess this is it... tmr's the big day... the last major performance of my JC life...budden the thing is that I am not even excited at all!! In fact, I am pretty weary already... cause there are like so many stuffs unprepared... think the concert will be a failure. Brochures not ready, dancers not ready, pieces not ready, ticket sales ABSOLUTELY HORRENDOUS as well as the non-chalant attitudes of the band people...

Well, hope that everyone who got the tickets will go for the concert... cause ticket sales is really horrible at the moment... tmr's the day and yet abt 100 tickets still not sold... very stressed... later those who bought tickets also nv go, think really have to play for a half empty hall... this is the concert that I look forward to least in my entire life!! If only the concert can be pushed back a couple of weeks... maybe liddat got more face to jian ren!! But too bad... lucky not a lot of my frens gg... think cannot even see me lor... this year no riser summore...

Anyway, was discussing that stuff with Wee Keong, Soo Chin and Shufen... think its pretty serious... the situation pretty bad now... summore I got 'tricked' into taking bus with them... waited so long den took 852 (I think its 852... got bad memory lah) all the way to bukit batok den took MRT to Woodlands. Poor me... still got conned out of the train to go drink with them at Causeway Point. Wah... so silly of me... den drank for a while only den left liao... den had to take MRT all the way to Yio Chu Kang den wait for like hours for the bus... the queue was so long lor... stretched all the way to almost the MRT station (think a bit exaggerated lah)... so a simple journey that could have only taken me 40 mins was stretched to over 2 hours... how intelligent of me... hahah!!

After that had to go buy the section some gifts... so ex lor.. those stuff... the price inflated by 50 over percent lor... cost so much now... almost broke already... okie lah... got to go sleep already... must look more lively tmr... hahah!!

Wow... today is really a very freaky day. Well, to be exact, a really nice freaky day. The people round me are all so different today... its so surreal... like its a dream.. except its real-er!!

Actually today still pretty sick one... budden for the sake of my section, I had to go to school... really glad that I did... a lot of things really happened today... I am still very shocked now...

Anyway, my section did come late for sectionals, budden they were not as late as before... poor Anusha, still had to take a cab to NJ, all the way from Tampines... think that my section is really very fun... but too bad I am graduating from band soon... think will really miss all my juniors....

More surprises awaited me during civics... firstly, managed to sell another 2 tickets to Shini.. think it was rather bad of me... cause I kept on pressurising Shini's fren to go... in the end sold her 2 tickets... den when I went for Civics, found out that Candice and Linyi had decided that they would come for my concert... really glad that they made such a decision... this shows that the class is really very nice... even thou the duo had made arrangements for haircuts and also the fact that they are not band music lurvers... think that they are really nice people... hope they will get to enjoy the concert!!

Sold my second last ticket in my booklet in class... to whom you may guess... surprise surprise, its actually Mr Gwee!! Hahah... cause he kept on insisting that he wun buy... budden I volunteered to organise the class to play some games so he agreed to buy the ticket... think I quite selfish really, cause I only selling the ticket for the sake of selling... Mr Gwee din even want to go lor... budden the ticket sales is really horrible... 1 more day to the concert and not even half of the booklets were sold... so really desperate... really dun wan to play to a half empty hall... think I better persuade him to either go or give the ticket to some1 else who would like to go... dun waste the ticket mah... (anyway, I also managed to sell the last ticket of my booklet... this time to Shini again... she really not bad... must ask her to push the sales more tmr!!)

Anyway, the game that I was supposed to play with the class was really not a game lah... din even last for 10 mins... hahah... quite 'leng chang' (cold stage?) lah... budden the discussion was pretty interesting... talked about pretty 'controversial' issues... also it was quite fun to hear about some of my classmates' ambitions in the future as well as how we/they can maintain ties in future...

Well, Chem lect was pretty interesting too... think that Mr Low is actually a pretty good lecturer too... maybe its his tone or his use of powerpoint presentations or his interesting method of getting people to answer his questions... but it really kept me pretty absorbed during his lecture... well maybe except the times where I had to cough or blow my nose or clear my throat... which were actually quite frequent.. think its the aircon lah...

However, that wasn't the surprise of the day yet... um... actually still cannot believe that it happened... think has to be surprise of the year instead... the surprise of the year happened during Chem Prac...

Got back my 2 marked practicals that were done last week... instead of getting comments like 'Revise your concepts' or 'Work harder', I actually saw 'Good work!'... I was like 'Wow, I can actually produce a xiang(4) yang(4) piece of work!!' The other piece of work was well attempted as well... had 14 out of 16.. really missed seeing this kind of results... haven gotten them like for years...

Anyway, that still wasn't the surprise. Today's 2 practicals were very smoothly carried out... no major errors clumsiness... budden only 1 bad thing lah... I was really quite hungry at that time... to the point that I actually felt like fainting... think I cannot bear my hunger for too long when I am sick... almost decided to stop my practical... my hands were really shaking and trembling... couldn't hold my apparatus well at all... so had to sit down for the entire practical... anyway, I was commented that I make 'powerful swirls'... think it was a pretty interesting comment... cause so sick already still can make 'powerful swirls'.... hmmm....

Anyway, the surprise came when it was close to 12 noon... which was supposed to be lunch break... actually I was expecting a dismissal at abt 12.30pm... cause there were some problems before hand... so some time was wasted... budden all of a sudden, Mr Gwee actually said "Please hand up your work to me by 5pm. No, make it tmr. Food is more important. Go for your breaks."

When I heard it I was like stunned... in fact I think everyone was stunned... It was really nice to hear that... so even thou I was still dismissed late, I left with a joyous feeling... something that I have like never felt for the all the Wednesdays I had this year... (does it sound very exaggerated? Well, I am not really very good at expressing myself in words)... summore he still asked if I were feeling better... and that I must take good care of Nicole... she pretty poor thing really.. got stressed up by band stuff... den had no time for hw too... think she really needs a rest...

After lunch was bio... Mrs Khoo said that from now on, every Thurs ' free period would be converted to bio lesson... haiz.. pretty sad really... next time Thurs cannot crap around already... summore she kept on scolding the class about hw and stuff... pretty depressing to hear her saying all those stuff again and again... thinks that she dun like our class... feel pretty sad for her really... cause we so lousy already den some of the class people still dun do her work... no wonder she so upset... hope she can kan kai a bit lah... maybe I am really not a science person... shd have gone to the arts stream last time, den maybe I would not have been in such a situation now...

Anyway, had band at 2pm... actually just slacked around all the way till about 4pm... helped to move the percussion and fixed the tiers and stuff.. actually was pretty sad lah... cause today was the track and field meet budden cannot go watch cause of band... last year also liddat... missed TnF due to band... anyway, during the rehearsal got pretty sick... kept on coughing and coughing... den couldn't play the instrument... could not even breathe properly.. so had to mafan Rachel to play all the holding notes for me while I take the time to rest.

Finally during break I could go to the track area to watch the competition... but by then only left with the cheerleading parts... only watched the performance by Aerius house... cause I was pretty hum.. dun dare to stay for too long... if not later get scolding from band... whilst walking up saw Mr Gwee again... crapped for a while (anyway, think that my mandarin is de-proving!! Cannot converse as fluently as before already... shall talk more in mandarin in future!!) den went back for band.

After the rehearsal, Shuhui asked the band about the Etude Night. She was really nice, cause she kept insisting that those who want to go raise up their hands whereas the rest wanted those who could not go to raise up their hands... summore later when I told her that my section left their instruments at the linkway area, she volunteered to go down and look after it... really nice of her...

Haobo was really great too... cause the guys had to move the tiers and percussion back to the band room budden he told me to go take sectionals instead and leave the moving of the stuff to him... really very moved by wad he said... really glad to find some1 that is so understanding... sectional was very productive... the section stopped when I stopped... so time was not wasted... really proud of them...

Well, today is really a day of surprises for me... NJC rulez!!

Just woke up from a very very long nap... now feeling sicker than ever... kept coughing and coughing... very scared tmr cannot go to school... cause I have set aside a very important sectional tmr morning and I really have to go for the sectional... if not my sectional will really be in a very bad shape for performance... haiz... if I am willing to go to school in spite of me being ill just to help them, why can't they just come for sectionals? Really hope I am not sacrifising for nothin tmr!!

Well... went to school in the morning, in spite of havin an MC for today... realised that the band got dismissed at 10.30pm the day before... so really glad that I went back halfway during the full dress rehearsal, if not I would really be in a much worse shape today!!

Anyway, was really quite fine during the first lesson (Biology)... and even paid full attention during the lesson!! Budden got pretty sick during maths lecture... kept on coughing and clearing my blocked nose... must have been pretty embarrassing... kept on making silly noises with my nose!!

PE was nice... cause no need to do wad... quite fun... just kept on talkin to Candice lor... pretty interesting conversation... but quite unlucky as well.. kept on being hit by soccer balls... anyway after that, went to find my CT during the break to ask for blue slip but he wasn't available... so went to find Mr Wong instead.. buddenhe had to go for lesson (actually its my tutorial lah)... so had to find a teacher after that tutorial... budden at 12.20pm, could not find a single teacher to get a blue slip... totally not a single one... none of my tutors were around... not even my GP tutor... so had to bear with it for 1 WHOLE hour until 1.20pm before I got Mr James Lim to give me a blue slip... he was really nice... gave me one immediately, summore still ask me how was my sickness and that I sld really take some time to rest and that now is really not the time to fall sick. He said 'you can find time to rest, but not find time to fall sick'. (courtesy of SC) He seemed really genuinely concerned... feel that he is really a very good tutor... so caring abt students' welfare... summore yesterday he noticed that I was sick and ask how I was... think that the class is really fortunate to have him as our math tutor.

Anyway, finally could go home at 1.30pm... but got loss in CS... hahah!! Took bus 156... den saw Yanbin... he was with his gf.. so paiseh lor... den he kept on asking me whether I have a gf or not... actually want to say one (Royston shd noe wad I mean) but in the end nv say.. if not next time meet up very paiseh.. summore he kept on wanting to see my phone... luckily never... if not sure in trouble... hahah!! Anyway, when I reached home, watched a bit of tv den fell asleep... just woke up lor.. so really have to go do my hw already.... if not tmr sure get scolded by tutors!!

Here's a piece of advice for everyone. If you feel that you are getting sick soon, please please do not fall sick on a Tuesday. Especially in school. Cause none of the teachers will be available to give you a blue slip. Well, at least not before 1.20pm. But by then, either you become too sick or you may as well stay back for last lesson. Hope you have a nice day.

Well... have to say that college day was not as fun as the one last year.... the mood was totally different. Yi nian bu ru yi nian...

Actually went to school with a pretty good mood... budden when I reached the band room, found none of my section mates there... so I called Rachel and Anusha, who actually told me that they cannot come, due to blah blah blah reasons. I was not angry that they couldn't come, but more because they din even try to tell me before hand.

Anyway, the minute number of people finally started streaming in one by one... and upon reaching the band room, they started going out, again for blah blah blah reasons... really got quite pissed by then, told them to set up their instruments, no one listened.

After that finally had one or two ppl setting up their instruments... told those in the band store to hurry up and then I directed the rest to the stone table to practice. When I went in, those in the band room were still not ready. By then I was preally very pissed off, so went there and shouted at them in front of everyone. Think they quite shocked... but at least they finally got out.

That totally ruined my mood by then. After that had no mood to take sectionals already. Think I was very stern during sectionals. Hit until the whole pencil flew out of my hand. Den slammed the chair on the floor. No one dared to talk or not pay attention by then.

I always try to be nice and cheerful and smiley, but when I get too nice, I get stepped upon and taken advantaged of. If I still dun show some temper, I doubt I will ever get any respect out of my section. Dun think that I will always be nice no matter wad, cause you will DEFINITELY not like it when I am not. Dun try to test my patience.

Anyway, after that just kept on sneezing. Think its cause of my new deodorant. Shld have gotten the old brand. Kept on sneezing till the prize givin ceremony. Den started having the weird sensation again.. the faint hungry feeling... summore very cold....

Finally the thing passed and I could go eat. Went to support Bo Yang's class and bought curry with french baguette. Wah, the baguette so hard!! Bit until my jaws were aching so much.

Din get to enjoy the performance... my class was not around anyway.. so it was quite of boring to play to no one to listen in particular.

After that went to Newton for dinner with WK, SC and SF. Stark contrast from last year, where almost the whole class went for dinner together. This time round only got 4 ppl. And worst of all, my drink had a bee floating inside... but at least still can crap around with them... talked about the same old stuff again... its pretty interesting to see that the talk is about the same few topics all the time but the contents are never exhausted. Anyway saw esther when I was at Yishun station ... she quite nice, waited with me at Yishun MRT station until my train arrived...

Wow... haven't updated my blog for quite some time now... cause this week is really busy!! Had college day rehearsal every night since Monday... all the way till like 9pm every night... really exhausted when I reach home... so really could not catch up on my tutorials... must really apologise to all teachers here!! Althou I doubt any of the teachers will come visit.

Anyway, was really looking forward with anticipation to College Day.... cause its really rare to get opportunities to perform in front of my classmates... but just heard from Lin Yi today that the class had to clean up litter tmr during the concert so that means that they cannot watch the performances... so sad!! Cannot show off my professionalism to them... too bad for them... hahah!!

But at least there is gonna be one good thing tmr... which is sectionals!! Hahah... really like sectionals, budden think that after next week there will be no more chances liao... so better make use of the opportunities to conduct more. Well... my section shldn't complain rite, they have got like the best SL in the band lor... where to find an SL that will crap with them, let them make fun of, conduct such interesting sectionals and still treat them occasionally!! But my section is really nice lah, think gonna miss them when I graduate!!

Had the econs fund management quiz today... I have to say that its really hard lor!! Just kept on skipping questions... summore must answer carefully, cause wrong will have marks deducted one... summore the test was held like in the afternoon, so got really tired... couldn't even open my eyes wide during the test... in fact I couldn't even concentrate at the first question!! Anyway, finished the test real quick den had loads of time to spare, so decided to check the question paper for typo errors... and oh my, there were tons!! Here are some examples:

- 2 marks are awarded for each correct ans... 1 mark will be awarded for each wrong response.

- ... marginal propensity to consumer (unforgiven error!!!)

- Which of the following statements is correct

- drinks come in 3 sizes, 12 ounces, 14 ounces and 16 onces

- wile (instead of while)

- tan (instead of than)

- U.SA.(instead of U.S.A.)

There were like so many errors in the quiz... really had fun picking them out... used my highlighter pen to highlight all the errors... think I will make a great GP tutor!! Hahah!!

Oh yah... my CT class was ranked no 11 for the recent cleanliness competition!! Really happy... cause I was the one who swept the floor!! Hahah... but everyone in class really put in a lot of effort.... especially Soo Chin, who always want the class to be spick and span... dunno for wad hor??? Hahah!!

Lost more weight again... now very close to getting out of the danger zone... really happy to see that my efforts are paying off... althou I highly suspect that part of it is because I puke too much... last last week's morning still puked 4 times... think twice before going to school and twice during chem lesson... every now and then still puke at times... I am not bulimic right?

Okie... gonna stop here... looking forward to tmr... hope I will enjoy myself during College Day!!

Today has to be like the most embarrassing day in my NJ life!! So pai seh man!! Today was the finals of the shot putt finals... was pretty excited actually, cause I thot finals meant maybe the top 6 or 8? So had a pretty good chance of getting a medal... really looking forward to this day, cause thot that it would like be the highlight of my JC years...

Had a fright when I reported to the competitor's area with Wee Keong and Josh. Cause instead of seeing like 5 or 6 people that I thot, I saw like 30 over competitors of all sorts!! Canoeists, track and field athletes, very very (I have to emphasise on VERY!!) strong people, house reps and even Soo Chin's foul-mouthed crush (well, close to crush)!!

Wah... really shocked to see this scene... think WK and Josh were shocked also... in fact, so shocked that they disqualified themselves lor!! So jian(4)!! So I was like the only one to represent the class... so pai seh lor... den suddenly some1 came to coach us on how to throw the ball (putt??) At first thot that I just had to stand and throw... den the guy that taught us actually told us to spin and stuff... still got pose lor... by then I really wished I could go back... it was like my worst nightmare!! But too bad, kena sabo by Agnes...

The real horror when everyone started to throw the putt one by one for a trial... everyone was so good lor!! Got force, got strength, got style... as it got closer and closer to me, really got very nervous!! It din help to see WK and Josh laughing all the time... when it got to me, I really did this lousy throw that din even reach the cone that the teacher put. So embarrassing!! Den after that really mei lian to stay for 2 more shots, so I disqualified myself... argh!! So xia suay!!!

Dun remind me of this incident ever again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's all the PTM's fault.. now my whole family is in turmoil. Haiz... all because of me. Shldn't have come to NJC lor... budden they were the ones that wanted me to get out of AJC...

Who doesn't want to score? I am always being reprimanded for getting poor results... but do you think I like scoring bad results? It is that fun to be scoring Fs all the time? Don't they noe that I feel bad too? And that I have really tried studying? Well, they noe, they just choose not to believe. Fine! If that's the case, so be it! I am just not cut out for studying. Too bad for them.

Today finally had the PTM... pretty nerve wrecking lah... cause the last time I had a PTM my form teacher said that I was talkative!! Apart from the other good qualities that I have lah... hahah!! But today my civics tutor was really nice when speaking to my mum... he was subtle when it was supposed to be subtle, and he exaggerated when he was supposed to, like when talking abt my hard-to-find, less noticable qualities...

Anyway, actually started blogging in a good mood... but now I am really pissed off lor!! Something just happened... I am really very pissed off... I am already so stressed already den this still happened!! I really just feel like quiting school now and getting out of this whole darn place!! I really can't stand it anymore lor!! Wad's this lor?? I get scolded everywhere I go lor. Sometimes really feel like just packing up and leaving this place FOR GOOD. Why am I here trying to do all these things that are not meant for me in the first place? No one understands the situation lor. Everyone thinks they do, but they don't noe a single thing about it.

If I cannot take it I will quit school. (Anyway this matter is very private and confidential so I have posted it in a new blog. If anyone wants to noe wad happened, ask me for the hyperlink. And dun tag anything abt it here.)

Shall talk more about wad happened yesterday... but before that, have to state something else first... think the rumour thing is getting too far already... at first I was alright with it cause it was only for fun (not that its true... anyway, its not true!!) and that I felt bad about making fun of Soo Chin, Wee Keong and Shufen... but now its like everybody noes already... and its really really not true!! Very embarrasing leh... wad if that person noes??? So, dun say already hor... if it continues, I will surely hav to go for ****sell*** aleady!! And... one last time, I really have no interest in that person!!

Okies... anyway, yesterday was pretty nice... was a long day, but it passed by really quickly... even bio practical seemed short... after school, WK, WD, SC, Nic and I went to see our civics tutor about the PTM tmr (I mean today... later!!) ... all of us had a long chat with him... talked about a lot of things... complained a lot also... budden every one of us overshot the 15 mins allocated to us... felt very bad.... cause made Tzyy Yih and Cheng Jong wait at the bus stop for almost 1 hour... sorry leh!!

After that we headed over to opp Bkt Timah Plaza for dinner... had a lot of fun... budden there are a lot of insects over there!! One even hit me on my teeth.. felt so disgusted!! Well anyway, the whole bunch of us crapped a lot... really an interesting outing... hope to go for more such outings in future!!

Actually wanted to blog yesterday when I was online... budden I was so tired I fell asleep right after surfing a few websites... with my computer and internet connection still on... so those who tried to msn me wun get any replies... sorry abt that!!

If you were wondering wad I was surfing, I went over to the HIGHLY recommended chemistry website... hahah... have to say that its really one of the most interesting chemistry websites I have ever been to. I din even feel like I was surfing a chemistry website... its really nice, cause the chem terms are wonderfully being placed in sentences in a very subtle way... and the many many cartoon pictures makes the whole site so much more lively, not to mention the sound effects too! There are just too many places to go!! Really feel that the rock candy thingy is very funny, "Rock candy. Rock. Rock candy. Its like a rock, but its a candy. You can eat rocks. That's fantastic. I like rock candies!"

Well, but there are parts of the sites that I dun really like too... the games, I have to say, are a disappointment... the pickles game is pretty boring... nothin much you can do in the game. No sound effects too... so it was pretty stale... can really improve on the games... and the food choices do not have much variety too... only like abt 7 foods to choose from... dun understand wad I mean? Then go to that website!!

I guess I am really starting to enjoy the joys of being an SL... had sectionals today... but there is a twist to today's sectionals... we had cross sectionals with the clarinet section!! Arranged with Cleopas to have combined bass and clarinet sectionals today so that the two different sections can listen to each other's parts in order to play better. Actually we were supposed to have our sectionals at the area beside the linkway, budden it was so noisy and so crowded... so in the end we had it at the stone tables area... that area is great!! So condusive for playing... and no one goes there.. so it was so enjoyable playing over there...

Anyway, Joyce, Shufen and Soo Chin were there also... so they were quite lucky... had a free concert... at first quite nerve wrecking lah... cause I had never conducted the clarinet section before... and the combined section was so big lor... almost 30 people!! My legs even shook lor... but I masked it pretty well lah... think no one noticed... anyway it was really cool to finally conduct scores with both the bass line and the melody... felt like conducting a mini band of my own!! And, I finally mustered my courage to let my 'baton' leave the stand (meaning: I finally did free hand conducting!! No more the metronome, but instead a real conductor). Best of all, all a lot of reviews that my conducting was actually not bad!! Like a real professional!! Really very happy lor! Think I will ask for more of such sectionals soon!!

Anyway, today was a pretty nice day... at first I was really dreading today one... cause its such a long and boring day... but it was actually pretty nice!! During GP found out that Mrs Yap wasn't here... supposed to do an essay... but ended up talking with ppl... bio tutorial was nice... with Ms Loh talking about her encounter with the Salmonella bacteria... Math tutorial was interesting too, cause I finally catched up with my work in the nick of time... even PE was great... cause there was a soccer match gg on... so we kinda slacked... played squash for the first time in my life today... so embarrassing... even fell down lor!!

Okie... really have to stop here... got lotsa hw to do... really looking forward to tmr... cause I am going out!!

Wah... just ridden on a terrible bus!! Wah... it was so dirty!! Dust everywhere... including cobwebs... den insects crawling on the screen, rite in front of me!! So suay, happened to be sitting right in front on the top floor... den no place to move summore... got insects on the rails as well... still got insects circling around me... so disgusting!!

Anyway, I am safe in the comfort of my home now... just now whilst havin dinner, finally got to watch the show I recorded on Sunday night -- A concert by Medieval Baebes!! So cool!! They are really one of a kind!! So fantasy looking... like elves straight out of the Lothlorien forest in LOTR!! They sang really cool songs... and they really danced very well... can't believe I actually managed to catch that concert!! Think I shall go buy their CDs when I am free... so good!! I am so impressed!!

Okie... have to stop now... have tons of work to catch up with...

Just came back from night practice.... so tired!! Actually band was quite okie lah... cause I was one and a half hours late... hahah... not intentionally late lah... cause I had Chem R paper... so could only go for band after R paper... den after I set up my instrument, it was time for dinner... so sorta started band practice just slightly before 7pm... played 'A Movement for Rosa'... a bit sian lah... cause Mr Ho kept on stopping to correct mistakes... got a little frustrated lah... cause all not my mistakes mah... hahah!! Budden its okie lah... cause after playing the piece for close to an hour, we played 'Nostradamus'!! Very exciting... after playing that song for so long, I am still deeply in love with that piece... so nice!! Liked it the first time I played it... so at least the band ended with a high note (no pun intended!!)... after that was stage band... played for like 15 mins den dismissed liao... at first still thot had to take bus home... luckily HX's dad came to fetch all of us home... really tired so sorta fell asleep on the car... except that when I was about to fall asleep, I have reached AMK... waited a while for my dad... den almost fell asleep again... den reached home liao... so din really catch any sleep... think I gg to sleep soon... den wake up earlier tmr to complete my homework... JC life is tough man!!

Earlier in the morning, I was feeling very sick... think I ate some spoilt food yesterday... den by the time it was Chem tutorial, I had like puked 4 times (quartet times?) and egested twice... felt really sick... den made Soo Chin get scolding summore... must apologise to her here!! After that had two tests in a row... bio test and chem test... bio test was quite fun lah.. cause it was open book and the questions were really short... so could still relex a bit... but the same cannot be said for the chem test... think I fail again... filled in really stupid answers... actually put nucleophilic substitution as amination... and wad is amination anyway?!? Hahah... luckily I thot of the answer at the last min den changed it... quite a stressful paper... esp when teachers were walking around... really worried that they would laugh at my out-of-the-world answers ... hahah!!

Civics was okie lah... well at least there were no more talks and miscellanous stuff so could stay in class... had to listen to a mini lecture on time management and studying and stuff... I really have to agree with Mr Gwee's viewpoints.... abt the one that we shld set our priorities right and that studies is more important for us students.... budden haiz... shall not elaborate that stuff here... (readers, please dun tag or even mention that thing here!! Thanx!)

During Math remedial, we had complex numbers revision... really happy, cause I managed to grasp a few concepts here and there.. at least I dun feel so helpless now... really liked that tutorial... hope I can improve my grades!!

Okie... stopping here... got to go sleep already... so tired!! Good night everyone... have fun studying!!

Hahah... just came back from the concert... not bad lah... I only sat in the performance theatre for 3 pieces... cause I was late for 5 minutes, so could not enter the theatre... den had to stay outside for 2 pieces... had to leave during the interval, cause really need to study for chem test... den the band only played for the first half... so after that, went over to Suntec City for dinner... went with CJ to Burger King to eat.. den crapped about school lor... oh yah... gave Tzyy Yih, Limin and ****y roses... so pai seh lor... haiz... shall not do such silly stuff in future (those who wants to noe wad happen can ask me in person... really rushed for time now...)

Yah... okie... thats all for now... got to continue with my organic chem... hope I do well for the test!!

How?!?! I still got a lot of work left... den still haven started my chem organics test revision... den in half an hour's time have to leave home already, so as to go for the TPJC concert... think will reach home after 11pm... dunno still got time to study for test or not... haiz... all Tzyy Yih's fault... wants me to go support him... hahah... later den blog lah... if I have the time!!

Well anyway... din blog on Friday... cause by the time I reached home, I was so tired that I fell asleep at 9pm... and woke up the day after at 11am... so shall update a bit here!!

Friday, I must say, was a really nice day... think it had to be the best weekday of the week... first lesson (chemistry) was really nice.... I was called to present the last question for NMR spectrometry... was pretty nervous... cause the previous 'presenters' were all given their fair share of scoldings... so I got really very tensed... since I like never got anything right for chem before... budden miraculously I managed to present correctly and din make (well... made a little... but thats not the point) any mistakes!! Summore got praised (well is that called praise? But anything that is not scold means praise... wadever!!)!! So really happy.. cause its the first time I am showing understanding in chemistry... this is the first step to better grades in chem!!

Math lecture was pretty nice too... well guess the class tutorial thing was really effective... cause I was really listening more and understanding more... think Mrs Chung is a really good math teacher... so hope my grades can improve because of this!!

Well... received a little scolding from Mrs Khoo during bio prac... cause she felt that I was talking too much.... but I wasn't really just chatting wad... well I crapped a bit... budden I was also asking Yee Ching bio questions... think the innocent party was her... cause I was the one talking... budden she got scolded also... sorry hor!! Really feel bad abt it...

Wah!! So happy to see my internet connection again!! Just now before I reformatted, I never expected any of this to happen... by the way, I have just finished reformatting... and the whole process took me 6 HOURS!!!

Can't believe it man... thot I could like finish by 12am... budden dragged all the way till 3 plus!! Really exhausted right now... but happy... cause reformatting is a torture!!

At first, I called Jayce just to ask a little... but my com really cranky... so from an expected 15 mins call... I had to drag to like more than an hour... must really apologise... cause made him miss his soccer match... anyway... I reformatted twice before I could actually see that my com is working again... budden no matter wad... could not get my internet to work... tried like for 2 hours still cannot... so decided to call PACnet to ask... wah... made me wait for so long lor... den ask me so many questions... wasn't of much help also... I called a total of 3 times to ask.. all answered by the same person... bet that person must be really pissed at me... summore very awkward lor... cause that person decided to help me along... so I was on the line for pretty long... den had to wait for my com to restart and my software to install and stuff... den between those periods dunno wad to say to that person... dunno shld ask him about his work or small talk or wad... but in the end just kept silent... den both sides never talk... just silence... so awkward lor... hahah!!

But in the end... really cannot stand it liao... so I just reformatted my comp again... den like a miracle, the internet connection just worked!! Just liddat!! Really happy that it worked...

Hahah.... so in the end... I reformatted thrice... but its worth it lah... cause my com is in great shape now!!

Argh!! My comp has been infected with some virus that is causing my com to restart every time I reboot... den it just restarts and restarts... but unfortunately, it is not the blasterworm virus, and my latest virus scan is unable to detect the virus... oh... the warning thingy is showing again, meaning that my com will restart again any time...

Anyway, I am going to reformat my com the next time I restart my com... decided to downgrade back to win 98... cause its more stable.. so this could be the last time I am looking at win xp... pretty sad actually... bye bye, Win XP...

Think I am going to embark on a long journey to reformat my com... the last time it took me a couple of hours... I think abt 3 hrs... dunno this time how long will I take...hahah shall see lah... okie... got to stop blogging liao... cause my com is restar.....
