Wow... finally back to my normal life... had a terrible blackout at 10pm just now... was havin dinner just now (will explain later why I have such a late dinner) when suddenly my whole house turned dark... thot it was like one of those times where my circuit got 'bounced' (can't really remember that exact word)... budden realised that the entire estate was pitch dark... well except for ****y's block... cause that block has its own power generator... well that's the advantage of staying above a shopping centre!! Anyway it was really dark and there were some screams... think its from the people trapped in the lifts...

Anyway, my whole family start scouting around for light source... took out handphones, candles and torchlights... den my dad told me to resume my dinner, and den proceeded to take out a big red candle so that I can see my food... felt really awkward.. cause after all, that kind of red candles are not really meant for such purposes... luckily my sis found a box of birthday candles... so switched to using that...

Anyway, I was really pretty fascinated by the incident, so went around calling people to see if there are any blackouts... realised that the entire Hougang, Bishan, Jurong East and Serangoon had blackouts... den heard from the news (thru SC's phone) that most of the North East region had blackouts... so guess the blackout was pretty extensive... budden after a while it got really unbearable, cause there were no lights, no TV, no computer, no shower, no fan, no aircon blah blah blah... basically there was nothing I could do except to walk around and sit down.. really boring lor... luckily found myself a corded phone so at least I could call Shufen... hahah... chatted for an hour I guess... just xian liao again... luckily got her company... if not I would really have nothin to do... anyway, the electricity got restored after 2 whole hours... think my 'province' (sorry for the awkward choice of words... really tired now) was one of the last to have its electricity restored... then heard a lot of screaming and cheering... pretty interesting to hear such stuff from an estate really.. hahah!!

Anyway, shall reveal why I had such a late dinner today... cause I had such a severe headache from having my econs ct that I just had to simply lie in bed once I reached home... and so I slept for 2 straight hours... till 10pm... anyway, I had a horrible ride home... took bus 854 from Yishun... the bus was awfully hot and I had to sit on the aisle seat... budden my head was feeling really terrible that I had to sleep... so think I started swaying around... so embarrassing lor... the worst part was, I kept on swaying and knocking against the guy that was occupying the inner seat... not once but like 8 or 9 times lor... so pai seh!! Dun even dare to look at him...den later when I tried to get off the bus, the door actually closed on me!! So I was like halfway outside and halfway inside... think I really made a fool out of myself in the bus... but no choice, I am usually very clumsy when I fall sick... and I will start saying wierd stuff that no one really understands...

Finished four papers finally... just one left to go... shall write about my feelings abt them...

Biology
My very first paper... dun really have much to say except that the hall was really cold!! I was practially freezing lor.. and was pretty sick in the morning... had to go to the toilet midway thru the paper even thou I was rushing for time... and I must sae that I wrote down really stupid answers lor... and the stuff that I studied din really come out lor... where is the cheese and yoghurt production?? Or batch culture and continuous culture?? Studied all those for nothing...

General Paper
Think that the essay segment was really tough lor.. din have much choices to write... this was the first time that I acutally took like half an hour to decide on the topic... partly cause I was pretty exhausted... but I was pretty flustered cause only 1 hr left so just anyhow chose a topic.. den realised that I had chosen a really stupid topic that I had nothing to write about... but no choice, cause really no time already... summore I wrote really stupid stuff inside... like "Exercise releases endorphins. Endorphins make you happy." So crap lor!! And it came from Legally Blonde. Yes, the movie. And I wrote "Reseach has shown that reading reduces chances of getting dementia and parkinson's disease" when obviously, I had not a single idea what was Parkinson's disease in the first place... think I really crapped a lot for essay... comparatively, the compre was much easier... think it was one of the easier ones that I have done for compre...hope it can help to pull my grades up... have high hopes on my compre...

Maths
Depressing... in fact I knew I would faileven before I stepped into the hall, cause I was really ill prepared...studied till 3am the night before, but entered the hall with absolutely nothin in my head... cause really was too tired already... and there were so many concepts that I din noe and had no time to ask... started the second half of the paper first.. it was relatively easier than the first half... think I would pretty much fail if there weren't the stats questions... not that I would pass lah... its a matter of failing badly or failing not so badly...

Economics
Fail for sure!! The MCQ was tough!! Din even bother to calculate anything cause really dunno any formulas and stuff... think they were harder than TYS questions lor... the case study was pretty okie... except I din really noe what outsourcing meant... the essay part was pretty horrendous... din even have stuff to write... basically crapped my way thru the last question... first time that I had absolutely nothin to write for my essay... even fin like before time lor...

So... I am left with my very last hope -- Chemistry, which I doubt I can do any better, since I have never passed JC chem before... NEVER.. but will still study lah... hope for the best lah... but nonetheless I will still slack a bit... think will watch a bit of TV tmr... okie, gonna study now... wish me good luck!!

Haven't updated my blog for such a long long time (excluding those results that I received for the personality quizzes)!! Bet a lot of people must have missed my interesting entries... hahah... but too bad lah... cause I was really busy with a lot of stuffs... like mugging, slacking, reading books, watching tv, going out (including going to school), eating, blah, blah...

So, shall summarise about wad I did during the holidays here shortly, since today is the last day of my last holiday before my NS... pretty sad actually, cause din really do much... but it was pretty well spent nonetheless!!

First Week

Mostly went back to school, I guess... had so many make up lessons... had a couple of band practices also... and band camp too... also met CJ's crush during the CJ concert... not too bad lah... think CJ has got pretty good taste!! Watched a lot of shows too... like Extreme makeover, Miss Universe (rawks!!), taiwan variety shows and stuff... went out a lot too... but mostly to Woodlands... oh yah... and there was the really depressing Chem Prac mock test which I had screwed up (follow up in the next paragraph)...

Second Week

Had my NS checkup... really long and tiring... and saw a lot of really fit people... think maybe some will gonna be my NS mates nxt time.. can't really imagine how I would be like in NS... anyway, went back to school couple of times again... to study and to consult Mr Gwee... pretty depressing (again), cause he was like marking my script in front of me... I was so embarrassed lor... cause there were like so many mistakes and I have to sae that it was like one of the worst pracs that I had ever done in my life!! SC said that **g looked like 'Elvis' from prison... anyway, went out with CJ a couple of times dis week... watched Harry Potter too... had the band performance for the 35th NJ anniversary... din really like it (refer to the previous posts)... basically it was pure slack on the second week too...

Third Week

Went out for most of the week with Tzyy Yih and Hui Chuan... supposedly to study lah... budden got pretty much distracted after studying like for a while... went to Bras Basah Complex to study most of the time, but in between we went to like Raffles City and Suntec to shop, went to Esplanade for walks, Marina Square for food, and even all the way to Harbourfront to eat Mac... one of the most memorial day was on Thurs I think... went over to Esplanade to study with Tzyy Yih and Hui Chuan... pretty interesting, cause we studied at the area beside the sea... could feel the strong sea breeze, and saw a lot of foreigners and expats, and we really talked for a long time... den later we went over to the esplanade library, where I managed to catch a new irish dance show (Gael Force~ name of the show) in the dance area... so grabbed hold of the opportunity to study there... it was really nice, cause the ambiance was great... and of course we chatted quite a bit... after that even went to Lau Pat Sat for dinner... had satay and other food... even saw celebrities!! Althou not popular one... hahah... anyway, it was really a pretty enjoyable week, I must say...

Forth Week

Ohh... a lot of mugging this week... went out like almost everyday to mug... went to school to ask questions too... althou I din get to ask much... went to Woodlands to mug too... must sae that the Woodlands library is really very condusive for studying... mostly studied for this week... budden think I wun be able to remember wad I had studied lor... cause I have really short term memory... I noe myself the best... I bet I have forgotten everything I have studied by now... think I am really in trouble liao...

So, this was basically wad I did for my holidays... hope I can do well for my CTs this time round... really looking forward to the end of my CTs, where I can really relax (a bit!) and rent some movies to watch, and hopefully drag my clique to watch some Irish shows on Thurs... so exciting!!

Just finished reading a great book ("Can you keep a secret")!! Wonderful book!! I was like laughing thruout whilst reading... it was so enjoyable... really touched after reading the book... den felt very light hearted following that... such a great book!! Actually I have read it a couple of times already... think about 5 times... but I just cannot get over the book.. cause it was so wonderfully written!! One of the best books I have ever read!!

Oh... and I realised that ISFPs usually dun do well in school... usually drop out of school during secondary education... now I noe why I am so bad in studies... and I am supposed to be better at practical skills, which explains why I am so bad at studying school subjects... oh, and people of my type loves watching tv... just like me!! And I am supposed to be a gifted artist or musician, who have a special talent for conveying my feelings through art and music. Pretty cool actually... hahah!!

Wow.. did some research on my personality type (ISFP)... think that it really resembles me!! Just watched "The Simple Life" (sorry for the error, its "The" not "A") and "The Next Joe Millionaire"... felt very emotional after watching The Simple Life... cause the show is really very interesting!! Think that its really very real and that there is very little acting involved... just purely reality.

And, Paris Hilton is really very pretty!! And Classy!! And Glamourous!! And sophisticated (only in terms of appearance)!! And humourous!! Think the part where she was darting away from all the moths was really very funny!! Now, I feel that Paris Hilton is the prettiest person in Hollywood. Sounds a bit exaggerting rite... but its true lor... the only bad thing is all the stuff she does in her personal life... like all the affairs and the way she spends her money and stuff... if she doesn't lead the kind of life she leads now, think she will be a much better person... so sad!!

"The Next Joe Millionare" bores me out. Absolutely.

So tired right now... cause only slept for 4 hours yesterday... mugged a bit for bio... whilst mugging, realised that my eyebrow hairs kept on dropping... plucked out a total of 26 using purely my bare hands... think I am suffering from hair loss... hope its due to stress!!

Anyway, had curry noodles for breakfast again... althou had to travel to Chinatown, but every min spent travelling is so worth it!! Really tasty noodles... everyone has to go try it!! Ask me for directions.

Den went over to school... at first only thot I would be studying with SC, den after that cause the school was really sian, so went over to Woodlands to study (althou I tried really hard to drag them over to Esplanade library cause there was a new DVD on irish dancing)... den dunno how, suddenly the people just multiplied!! From only me and Soo Chin, den plus Shufen, den Eunice, den Hui Chuan, den Cheng Jong, den Esther and her fren, den Shufen's sis... so many ppl lor!! But not everyone stayed throughout everything... so it wasn't so exaggerating lah...

We just stayed at the Mac in Causeway Point thruout... din really get to study much lah... cause kept on digressing... SF was telling me about the gf thing cause she read my blog... den we started to talk about wad we would look for in our future partners... poor me, got accused of moulding my expectations according to someone's qualities... but I am not lor... my expectations have been liddat since I was really young... however, SF's expectations really fit some1 lor... and summore that some1 keeps on saying that SF is very hot... think can start soon lor... hahah!!

Poor me got sabotaged by SC and Eunice... they used my phone to call **g lor... summore the line got connected... lucky got my phone back in time so I could cancel the call... but the call was still made lor... lucky that person nv call back...

Anyway, after that went to eat Swensons with CJ... had this vanilla and chocolate ice cream... so full after eating that lor.. but have to sae that it tasted pretty normal... nothing special abt that... den after that went back with CJ... actually he wanted me to go J8... but was really tired already... in fact so tired that I din feel like talking... so had no choice but to leave him and go home... so tired on the bus lor... slept all the way through... almost missed the stop already... the driver almost closed the door already... den had to rush down from the second storey... luckily made it... really very tired lor... den all I could say at home was "I am very tired"... but cannot sleep now already... cause 'A Simple Life' is coming soon at 10pm.... Paris Hilton is very pretty!! Althou she does not exactly have a very good image, but have to sae that she looks really elegant and pretty and classy... well, I have wierd taste... anyway, cannot miss that show!!

Wah... really tired now... think gonna sleep soon... din study much today... cause kept on talking.... was discussing Cat high ppl in AJC with Hui Chuan and Tzyy Yih... realised that like 90% of AJCians who were from Cat high are either attached or were attached before... think I need to work harder now har!! ;)

Wah... so tired right now... went out for the whole afternoon... shall start right from the beginning...

Yesterday was chatting with Soo Chin from 10pm till about 12 plus am... cause she was gg to Genting liao... den we watched "Zhong yi da ge da"... saw this very funny guy dancing aerobics or something... very funny!! After that we all went online... me, SC, SF... den chatted with them and CJ and Royston and WK... most of them went offline after a while, like at 1 plus or 2 plus... so left me and SC only... SC was not supposed to sleep, cause she wants to sleep on the bus to prevent car sickness... so I chatted with her till pretty late... but in the end I was really tired liao, so had to stop chatting with her slightly before 4am... hahah... dunno wad she did for the last 1 hr before leaving for Genting...

Anyway, woke up at 10am by HC's phone call... den realised that I was supposed to be at AMK by 10am to meet HC... but luckily she was still at home... anyway, told her I needed more sleep, cause really too tired already... hahah... den the next time I woke up, realised that it was already 12 noon... so called HC again.. cause din want to make her wait too long... den realised that she was still at home... luckily for me... den after that went to meet TY... actually supposed to go to the Mac beside Bras Basah Complex, budden decided to go shop in Suntec first... hahah... went over to Harvey Norman to look at electronics, den to other shops to look... after that went to Pizza Hut for lunch... spent abt 15 bucks... din expect to spend so much... cause got a lot of hidden taxes...

Anyway, after that went to the Mac beside Bras Basah Complex to study... completed couple of Integration questions... really pretty proud of myself... after that left Mac at about 9 40pm... den went to Raffles City to walk a bit till 10 den left for home...

Reached home at 10.40 plus... watched Extreme Makeover... anyway, now really tired already... think shall watch TV for a while den go sleep... tmr gg mugging again... at that Mac again... pretty condusive there... okie... got to go...

It was some competition where I (along with a lot of other guys) had to choose someone I fancied out of a line of ppl (dunno for wad). The ones not chosen would be eliminated. But they were favourites, so in the end I just randomly picked a person (cause there was a time limit) and I was seriously shocked at who I picked. Bad pick.

Wah... finally back to the comfort of my own home... now den reached home lor... actually the performance ended at 8.15pm lor... but a lot of problems happened... result of bad planning (I guess)... so dragged till now... so shall start right from the morning...

Woke up at about 7am... was kinda in a rush... cause din pack my bag the night before... so had to try to recall wad I had to bring in a really groggy state of mind... den made it out of the house by 7.55am... in my bottom full uniform, the black shoes that was more comfortable than track shoes and my old Cat High polo tee (really couldn't find other shirts to wear!!)...

After that had breakfast with my parents in Chinatown again... ate that famous curry noodles again... I can never get sick of it... its so wonderful!! Everyone has to go try someday okie??

Anyway, after that my dad drove me to school... reached NJ pretty early... at about 8.50am... earlier than my reporting time by a while... think by 4 plus hours... not a lot of time really... den went over to TA something for the string bass and cello sectionals... cause nothin to do mah... den helped SC and Joyce to burn the end of their precut ribbons so that they wun fray... den just slacked until 10am... Jane very 'funny' har... always anyhow sae stuff... trying to spoil my good reputation!!

After that followed SC and Jane over to the Santuary... den waited for Joyce to go practise instruments together... pretty interesting lah... I practised my own parts whereas she practised her own... but mine really too easy liao... after a while could stop already... den decided to learn erhu from her... so I practised the erhu for like the next 2 hours or so... really interesting instrument... Joyce said I learnt pretty quickly... summore could already play "Twinkle trinkle little star" and "Red Valley Suite" (dunno whether its the correct name)... budden cause I din play the second piece so well... so I just kept on practising and practising... played the song like more than thirty over times... until Joyce got irritated... cause she feels very paiseh that I was playing in front of so many ppl in the canteen... the funny thing was when I went to buy cai fan... the auntie thot I was from CO lor... den ask if later got CO ppl coming to eat or not... so I played along with her... said CO dismiss at 1 plus... luckily I was not wrong... oh yah... saw Shufen also whilst going to the canteen... and she commented on my hair... I noe its short and ugly... but I din choose that style!! My barber just cut it liddat!! So have to wait for a while for my hair to grow back...

After that met up with the rest of the band ppl and den went over to Swissotel to prepare for the performance... think the alumni ppl really zhuan dao... cause they din have to move the percussion or the instruments at all lor... its us who had to move them... hahah... a bit unfair lah.. cause we had to help play for the alumni and yet still had to help them move the instruments there... reached there at late 2 plus... den the whole bunch of us had to go find the lorry to unload the instruments... but we walked and walked and yet still couldn't find the lorry... like walked for almost 20 to 30 mins I guess... den in the end found out that the ppl on the lorry had already unloaded the instruments... so efficient!! So we sorta walked for nothin... except that we saw the act put up by the Australians... the guys that lived behind the windows in the Esprit shop... pretty interesting lah...

Anyway, went back to the ballroom.. have to say that its really very grand... everything was decorated so nicely!! Summore there was a wedding dinner preparation going on on the adjacent ballroom... really elegant and classy... think next time can choose Swissotel for wedding... althou Fullerton's great too... back to the topic... saw the alumni ppl... recognised a couple of them... the euphonium player, the unemployed trombonist, the dentist flutist, the tenor sax player and a few more... as usual, I din talk to any one of them... really dun dare... well I did speak to one... but only a few lines... like "oh, its concert D flat", althou I seriously believe that he din trust me at that time... and "escuse me, sorry" when I needed to get out of my row... at least I said something... hahah!! Really dunno how to approach other ppl to talk to lah... esp older ppl (like in the 20s or 30s)... I will just turn to silent mode...

After that, had a short rehearsal with Mr Ho... my mouth was really tired lor... esp during the whole notes part... so no choice had to give myself some extra breaks and rests in the score so as to relaxx my mouth a bit... if not really cannot tahan... just horrible feeling lah... hahah!! Den after that we were dismissed at 5 pm to have our dinner... went to meet up with Tzyy Yih... den went to Suntec together to have dinner (well not so technically lah... cause I ate while he watched)... I actually went to Kenny Rogers... hahah... so extravagant of me.. and I din even enjoy it lor.. cause it was really not very much to my liking... as well as my wallet's liking.... think wun go there next time already... anyway we just kinda crapped lor... and then Cheng Jong came... however it was already like 6.40pm already.. so had to leave the place... den got changed to my black shirt... took me quite some time, cause my pants were really loose... and had to use a belt to secure it... anyway, it was just really uncomfortable to wear... so took a lot of time to adjust it... after that really had no time liao... so rushed to another toilet and got CJ to tie my tie for me... hahah... think his knot not secure one... I haven even put it on it already loosened already... den summore he so slow... and I was like pacing around trying to get him to hurry cause I was really late already... den once the tie reached me it would just loosen up... think he tied like 4 or 5 times still cannot... summore the ppl behind me were laughing lor... so paiseh... so end up I tied for myself... den realised that I would surely be late... so ran from Suntec to Citylink back to Swissotel... What a scene lor... I was like running in my full outfit and my pants were falling off cause they were too loose, so had to put my hand on the belt... and my bag was falling off my shoulders, and my shoes were beginning to get really uncomfortable... den there were 2 guys running behind me (CJ and TY)... think ppl must have found it really amusing....

Anyway, managed to reach the ballroom on time... luckily... saw a lot of really well dressed people... so stylsh lor... like right out of tv shows lor... really classy... and I noe how come Mr Gwee din want to go for the dinner already... cause the majority there were all forty, fifty plus people, and the minority younger people were like in their 30s... and they looked so clearly out of place there!!

The scene in the ballroom was really rowdy... and the poor compere (heard she is a mediacorp news anchor... think its Deborah something) was like trying to make everyone sit down so as to prepare for the guest of honour's arrival... apparently she failed... cause there were so many ppl standing up everywhere... so the compere had to stand on stage for like 20 mins... after that the VIPs finally arrived... DPM Mr Lee Hsien Loong, director of Temasek Holdings Ms Ho Ching, MOE Mr Lim Swee Say and Acting Education Minister Mr Tharman Shanmugaratnam... they looked so cool when they stepped in lor... like superstars!! Quite proud to say that out of the four, 2 were from Catholic High... Cat High rox!!

Anyway, the performance was a flop... cause no one was interesting in listening at all... apparently food was more important to them and the people just chatted and chatted... so loudly summore...could only hear a few claps after the performance... the President of the Alumni delivered a speech after that... unfortunately for him, no many ppl listened to his speech... most were talking.... unfortunately for the compere, no one listened to her as well... ppl din even clap when the VIP went up to cut the cake and present some tokens... the compere even had to sing the birthday song... cause no one was singing at all... think it was really pai seh for the compere...

Shall skip to the end already... cause too tired... anyway we took a long time to load back our instruments due to some miscommunication problems... after reaching NJ received a scolding... den got dismissed and went home... my feet are now in so much pain due to the black shoes... think tmr will get worse... anyway shall end here... good night everyone!!

Woke up pretty early today... actually woke up automatically at 8.30am today... but forced myself to go back to bed... cause simply too early liao... nothin to do... den had some wierd dream... forgot wad dream liao... but anyway, woke up at abt 10am... den watched Survivor Pearl Islands... think that Survivor is getting more and more boring... well anyway, after that watched some old Mediacorp serial abt Shaolin... after that watched "chou nu da fan shen"... pretty interesting Taiwan serial by Phyllis Quek.. quite interesting lah... oh.. and then there was this cooking show hosted by this female named Nigella... she's really pretty... althou she is a bit on the heavy side... but very very pretty!! Hahah... the stuff she made looked really appetising too!! Unlike Martin Yan's programme which was after that... in comparison his food looked so stale and unfresh lor...

Anyway after that was some travel show... today's destination was Trang, some island in Southern Thailand... have to say that the beaches and the sea water looked really nice!! Seemed like a really relaxing place... the sand was so smooth and the water so clear!! But the city paled in comparison... really old looking!! Just typical Thailand... still wun go there.. hahah!!

Have to sae something... think SC really wierd recently... always seem to implying a lot of things... dat day just said that 12 is very good looking in J8... den yesterday on msn said 12 is very shuai... today in the cinema again said that he is very handsome... den in KFC her sis said SC commented that 12 looks like Harry Potter (implying that he very good looking... cause she kept on saying HP very good looking)... think she really something wrong recently... hahah!!

This is just a personal joke... dun get too worked up over this!!

Really pretty bored of surfing the net nowadays... really have got nothin to surf already... absolutely nowhere to go... no interesting websites... dun even feel like going online sometimes... and even if I am online, all I do is to just click around the Yahoo! website... used to be very excited about going online... now its so mundane that it has become somewad like a chore to go online...

In fact I am pretty bored of my life now... all I do is to go to school... mug for exams (which I am really bad at, cause all I do is lie in bed with some book for the whole day and nothin gets in... wad's worse than doing nothin for the whole day ?!?!), surf the net (surfing nothin) and watching TV... even I got tired of watching TV... which is so strange... cause I used to like watch TV for 3 quarters of the day and sleep for the other 1 quarter... now I cannot even bear to watch for 2 hours consecutively... the only nice luxury that I have is sleep... which really is a waste of time... esp so if one sleeps for like 12 or 13 hours a day... not including 4 hour naps... wad kind of life is this??

I dun expect my life to be any better for the next 3 years... really feel like I am living a very meaningless life... sometimes just feel like leaving everything behind and going somewhere else out of Singapore... somewhere far like USA or Ireland... where I can really get to relax and pursue my interests... but this is really totally unachievable... since this is reality.... nothin good can ever happen in my reality... this is as good as it gets...

Anyway, went out with WK, SF, SC, SC's sis and Alvin... watched Harry Potter 3... not bad wad... I think its better than HP1 and HP2... well not all parts, but overall... think its pretty intriguing and mysterious... althou I dun really understand parts of it and dun really like the ending... but maybe cause I have never read the book before... but it was pretty nice overall!!

Well... after that ate a bit and walked a little to Orchard... den took the MRT with the rest... took the train to Woodlands 'on my own accord'... den went back home...

Anyway, think I gonna change my watch soon...

Yesterday was absolutely horrendous!! Got scolded by most of them... Royston thinks I shld stand up for myself since I din do anything wrong... but I wun one lah... cause too hum already... summore yesterday wore really uncomfortable clothes... so the whole day I was like adjusting my shirt and pants... purely cause it was really uncomfortable... so Shufen, DUN get me wrong hor!!

Okie... back to today... Soo Chin came to school so early!! Actually she said she was coming to school at 9am (subconsciously)... den she reached before 8.30!! So enthu lor... think cause she can see 12... hahah!! No lah... just kidding lah... 15 better rite??

Anyway, was really ill prepared for the QnA session... hahah... cause got ps-ed twice mah... so no choice had to ask on the second week lor... budden really got not much to ask... SC very enthu... ping ming do... unlike me... 5 minutes before the meeting den start doing some MCQs...anyway, cause it was really raining heavily so had to go over to the tables outside the library to ask qns... at first still felt pretty awkward... din really talk much... budden after we have all warmed up den we started chatting quite a lot... in fact more than asking qns lor... summore found similarities between SC and 12... both like rabbits lor...

Anyway, do I look like I am very troubled and that I have a lot of problems in my life? Cause Mr Gwee kept on saying that I have very low self confidence and that I shld be more confident if not it wun be good for me when I get into society in future... and he kept on asking if I have a lot of personal problems... and insist that I consult him if I really do have problems... well maybe the low confidence part is true... but no substance how to be confident?? Anyway, problems... nothin much lah... think I can handle it myself... think maybe Miss Lim might have told him... but do I really looked very troubled? Cause Mr Gwee said he could observe it from my actions, speech, daily work and stuff... am I really that different from the others?? He also nv ask SC whether she got probs or not... could it be I have probs and I dunno I have the probs??? Or that everyone can tell that I have problems and I dun think I have problems because I am supressing my problems? Think I too paranoid liao... anyway, wad he said was true lah... I shd be more confident... althou I really think its gonna be a really really hard task... really difficult!!

Anyway, Mr Gwee decided to mark my script and SC's prac script in front of us lor... den just cross cross cross mine and comment all these... so pai seh lor... cause I knew I did very badly... cause fell asleep whilst studying that time... really very embarrassing... and was pretty demoralised... but nonetheless found the crapping part pretty alright (slightly < enjoyable)... talked abt some interesting stuff... think SC liked it also.. cause she likes to chat with jian tan people... and SC finally had her first entry on her autograph book... bet she shd be pretty happy... cause at least one person wrote there already...

After that went to have lunch with SC and her junior, Jane... poor SC, her food got eaten by birds... so she had to eat sandwich instead... anyway Jane was really funny lor... kept on guessing stuff.. but too bad all wrong!! Except the photo part where she got it!! Hahah... think SC got a pretty interesting junior...

Later went over to the stone table to study alone... cause the CO ppl had CO, den WK got BBQ... so poor me had to sit alone at the stone table for like 3 hrs... summore so tired lor... almost fell asleep on the bench... towards the evening there were a lot a lot of insects circling around me... at least got 20 somethin lor... I felt like some rubbish dump... luckily had my ear phones on... if not I would have gone somewhere else... after that did something embarrassing... SC and CJ shld noe... so embarrassing... bet that person sure thinks I sort sort one... anyway, realised I got backstabbed... so bad lor... how can the person be liddat... dun wan to tell me straight up... really dunno wad to say lor...

Dunno wad's wrong with me recently... very easily irritated... just now had dinner with Cheng Jong at Long John Silvers.... the service so bad lor... waited 20 mins for my food to arrive... summore still must remind the staff lor... at first I still quite nice... asked pretty politely for my food... after that still haven come... so got quite pissed... so I began staring at the staff... since I was only sitting beside the counter... den I kept on making the "jik" sound... and kept on saying "Wo bu yao chi le" pretty loudly... althou I dun think the staff can understand chinese... den when the staff finally got me my food, I was so pissed lor... I just looked at the other direction lor... den stretched out my arm to take the food... refused to look at the staff... later still very angry... so I started writing my complain letter whilst eating... wanted to email LJS abt the bad service attitude one... but surfed the net for 1 hour liao still cannot find the email address... so luckily for them... cause my complain letter so well written lor... even CJ thot it was good...

Think my mum a bit cranky now... cause she read the article (inclusive of 3 pictures of the culprits) about the 3 army officers causing the death of some recruit by suffocation... den she very angry... keep on commenting that they got pig brain... den she said "pig head got pig brain", and proceeded to draw on the 3 pictures... made them look like pigs... summore she said want to paste the pictures in the lift.... dunno wad my mum thinking... true lah, the offenders deserved to be punished... but my mum dun have to stick their pictures in the lift rite? Hahah!!

Wow... really tired now... in a couple of hours time I will be going for my dreaded army checkup... really dunno wad is going to happen... of course I am not hoping for an enjoyable experience, just hope that it wun be too embarrassing or malu-ing...

Anyway, spent the Monday pretty differently from the usual... reached the school pretty early at about 8 plus am... surprised to see that the school was so quiet!! There were actually more workers in the school than students... and the most amazing thing was that, after staying in the school for close to 2 hours, all I saw were 2 teachers (Mrs Khoo and Miss Phua)!! So fascinating!! Seldom see NJ so quiet before... in fact think I never saw NJ so secluded... not even at night!!

Anyway, only stayed in NJ for about 2 hours... cause there were really too many mosquitos in the school... got a lot of insect bites... think its because there were no other 'targets' for the mosquitos... so went over to KAP to study alone... whilst waiting for Soo Chin and Shufen to come... called CJ along also... cause know that he gg to school... so asked him to come, since its on the way... anyway, I visited VideoEzy and I realised that I had really missed out on a lot of great movies!! Saw so many movies that I had wanted to watch but din have time to... think I will borrow some titles after the June Common Tests to watch... so exciting!!

After an hour plus, the trio finally arrived (seperately)... had my breakfast... den decided to go back to NJ after that cause KAP really cold... had to warm myself up somewhere else... so followed SC and SF back to school... really had nothin to do in school... so I took Jane for sectionals... hahah... pretty interesting lah... den after that took almost 1 hr to learn a bit about the cello... now can play 1 scale already... think that playing a cello is really cool!! Hope can learn when I get older...

After that went studying at the stone table alone again... finally CJ came after 2 hrs... den showed him around the part of NJC that he did not see before... hahah... den went over to J8 with him, SC and SF... the bus ride was really funny... SC said a lot of funny stuff... and she admitted about her having a beloved lor... summore just came out so naturally... hahah...

She said something even funnier in J8 lor... from wad she said I could imply that she meant '10' (secret code for a person) was very good looking... hahah... pretty amused by wad she said... but I noe she dun mean it lah... hahah!!

SC tried to search for autograph books over at J8... went to a lot of shops... den finally she bought one from Muji... den she decided she wanted an address book... summore she had a lot of requirements for that book lor... must have this must have that... actually saw one in Precious Thots one... but she sian qi... cause the cover wrote "Call me baby"... nothin wrong wad... dunno why she dun wan... den later she rejected more cause the designs all very bimbo... she said dun suit her style... so went over to Popular... Popular had a lot of those lor.. but SC still rejected... CJ very funny... took out this book... can record Name, Address, NRIC no, Marital Status, Passport no, CPF account etc... very funny.. summore can record salary every month... hahah... but its for employers... really had a good laugh!! Also saw one that could record horoscope and even blood type... but SC also dun wan... think she wants one that can fulfill her criteria... but really hard to find lah... hope she can get it soon....

Okie... gonna stop here... really tired liao... got to wake up at 6 to prepare for the dreaded trip... hahah... but think gg out after the examination... so still not too bad lah... see how lah... do look forward to my next post!! Bet its going to be really exciting!!

Shall now continue the story about yesterday...

So... the four of us got onto bus 156 after a long wait at the station... found 4 really good seats right in front of the TV, where we continued to watch Miss Universe... unfortunately for us, they were already at the QnA session... so I missed out on thier catwalk section... which was quite sad.. cause it was the part where Miss Australia did really really well in... anyway, think that most of the finallists answered pretty badly... except Miss USA who really showed her intelligence... actually the more I think the more I feel that Miss USA should win the pageant... cause Miss Australia is really too young already... dun think that she will treat her work (as Miss Universe) too seriously, unlike Miss USA, who shows passion in wadever she does...

Anyway, we reached SJI on time and whilst walking, we saw this class gathering... think I saw class of 1954... den this guy came out and asked if we were here for the gathering... dunno whether he was joking or not.. but dunno wad came over me... cause that person quite persistant lah... den summore asked in a ang moh tone... so I replied back in the ang moh accent "Definitely not!!" and just walked off... think I really very rude to that person!! Hahah... anyway, the concert was pretty good I must say... not because the quality is good, but because its entertaining... the band played Vesuvius!! Hahah... but definitely not as good as NJ band... summore this concert was the first time where the conductor suddenly stopped the band halfway while playing and asked to restart again... hahah... pretty wierd concert... there was a really good oboeist inside... so I commented to CJ that he was like the only good player in the whole band... den realised that he was not a member of the CJ band, but rather a member of the police band who just helped out for the concert!! Hahah... so cheat lor!! There was the guitar ensemble after that... have to say that it is way better than the NJ one... sorry Cheryl and Xia Xia!! But they were really very good!! Esp the soloist... wonderful!! Anyway, saw Cheng Jong's crush finally... pretty bad of us... cause we kept on calling her Kim Pang.. very funny!! But she din hear it... until the end when we parted (cause we were all talking together)... guess I said Kim Pang really loudly... and her fren heard it and told her... so funny!! Dunno wad happened now... must call up CJ to ask him someday!!

Anyway, just visited this great site where I read more about the family of clarinets... found out that there is actually 27 different types of clarinets constructed throughout the years... really saw a lot of very interesting clarinets... the lowest clarinet (Sub Contra Bass clarinet also called Octo Contra Bass clarinet) can even play notes that are so low that most people cannot hear this frequency!! Another (saxonette) is a cross between a clarinet and a saxophone... looks really cool!! So shall post some details here for all my readers (which I noe is very very is a really mediocre number)... sorry this post may take a pretty long time to load due to the large number of pictures... and sorry if the pictures seem too big/small, cause I have got not much time to resize it...


B-flat clarinet



This is the most common of all clarinets... and also happens to be the first instrument that I've played in the band... really liked the clarinet and its sweet mellow tone... but it is extremely hard to produce a good tone in a short period of time... takes years to develop a nice sweet tone as well as the technicality to play the instrument...


A-flat clarinet



Haven't seen this before... but supposedly very small... smaller than a recorder... in fact the smallest clarinet in the family... has a very high pitch too... highest in the band as well... in the same range as the piccolo... but not really that frequently used in the band... I haven't even heard of such a clarinet before!!


G Clarinet aka Turkish Clarinet



This clarinet is frequently used by the Turkish in their folk music because of its tone and flexibility... slightly larger than the normal clarinet... cannot tell the difference between the G clarinet and the A clarinet?? Look at the lower body of the 2 clarinets... and have to say that the logo on the bell looks fantastic!!


Bassette Horn


Really cool instrument... slightly smaller than an alto clarinet... noe wad is the coolest thing about it? There are two looks for the bassette horn... one is the straight clarinet version and the other is the bent clarinet version... and both of them produces exactly the same sound!! So interesting rite?? Better show ya the pictures if you do not understand wad I said... anyway look at the lower portion of the straight clarinet... doesn't it look taunting??






Alto Clarinet



Nothin much to sae abt this... have this in NJ band... but I dun play this... cause dun really like the tone... but shld try someday, cause the scores for the alto clarinet are actually quite tough!! Somewad like the parts for clarinets!!


Bass Clarinet

Ah... my favourite instrument... played the bass clarinet for more than 3 years already.... always liked the tone that it produces... so low... so nice... but the scores dedicated to it is really simple... even for really tough pieces... moreover, a lot of people thinks that the bass clarinets are actually redundant in the band... even composers (from the way they just duplicate tuba scores for bass clarinets)... so since bass clarinets are not true basses, they are usually very useless... most seem to forget the beautiful 3 octave range that a bass clarinet can play... so we bass clarinetists are just downgraded to playing the most bottom octave... which is really boring... anyway... here are the pictures... the first picture is the one that I play in NJ band... pretty limited range... unlike the one I play in Cat high, which is shown on the second picture... that was my absolute favourite... really missed playing it... looks cool rite??






Contra-alto Clarinet


Had the chance to play this really wonderful clarinet when I performed as guest player (sounds cool rite!!) for the RGS concert at the SCH two years back when I was in sec 4... the clarinet belonged to another guest player... it was great playing that instrument... except that it was really long and I had to like sit on 2 chairs... larger than the bass clarinet by quite a lot!! But it was enjoyable nonetheless...




Contra-bass Clarinet


Another really cool instrument... lowest clarinet for the modern band (there are way lower clarinets too... but they are really obsolete already... cost a lot to produce... my old bass clarinet costs 5000 over bucks already... think it will cost at least $10,000!!) Really low.... would like to play it if I have the chance... cause I really like playing low clarinets... the lower the better!! There are also 2 types of contra bass clarinets, the straight clarinet and the folded clarinet... the folded one is totally made of metal I think... see for yrselves!!






Here is a comparison of the sizes of the low clarinets... to show you all the exact size of these clarinets... hope you dun get a shock to see the size!! The one on the left is an alto clarinet (just slightly smaller than the bass clarinet that I play in school), the centre one is a bass clarinet extended to low C (longer than the bass clarinet that I play) and the extreme right is a contrabass clarinet... so cool right??

Wah... just came back from the CJ concert... so tired now!! Woke up at 6 plus lor... cause had to reach school by 7.45am for band camp... when I stepped into the band room, din see much people... so went out for a walk... coincidentally met Soo Chin and Shufen, whom just came for CO... so accompanied them for a walk around the school... cracked a joke while at the atrium... but SC sumhow thought that I was serious... I am not hor!! Just joking only!!

Anyway, after that supposed to have PT... budden suddenly had stomachache... so had to go toilet... by the time I reached the track, the band were already out of school doing their run... so too bad for me.. couldn't get to join them... anyway, after that was games... din play much either, cause I was a substitute... summore I was the goalkeeper so din get to have much action... Nicole very nice.. kept on cheering for me... althou I noe I was bad at playing sports....

Anyway, had band after that... today there was a new score ("Amazonian")!! Pretty interesting score... and the best part was, it was tough!! Haven't had a tough score for so long!! This one has a lot a lot of semi-quavers!! Very hard... so think I will have fun practising it... after that found out from Mr Ho that I would be playing for the alumni for the Swissotel school dinner along with Rachel and some other J1s... so stayed behind to play with the alumni... saw a lot of unfamiliar faces... being INTROVERT as usual, I din dare approach anyone to chat with... bet the alumni will think that I am most probably a snob who only wants to play the score... but no choice lah.. cause really dun dare to start a conversation with a stranger... too INTROVERT already...

Well, made a fool out of myself again... was playing "Persis"... den there was this part where no one plays at all... just about 2 bars of silence... budden I was very tired at that time, so mistook my croquet for a whole note (translates simply to: playing 4 counts instead of 1 count)... summore that part was the ending part already... so just blasted the note and held it for 4 counts.... den I suddenly realised that no one else (absolutely no one else) was playing... instead a lot were looking at me!! I was so paiseh at that time!! Had to hide my face behind the stand... so malu lor!! Summore malu in front of the alumni people... super suay!!

Well anyway, my instrument is officially spoilt.... Mr Chin was really helpful... tried to help me fix my instrument... summore thot me a lot of new stuff about the clarinet that I never knew... think that he is really knowledgeable!! Summore so helpful!! Really changed my opinion of him already... he is such a nice teacher!! However, he still din manage to fix my instrument... really hope can fix it by Sat (performance day) if not think I cannot perform liao!!

After that took 156 to find CJ they all... saw Miss Universe on TV.... so nice!!! Din want to get off the bus one lor... cause too exciting already!! Really missed the show a lot... hahah... wonderful show... althou I am starting to have regrets that Miss Australia won.. think that Miss USA was actually more eligible to be Miss Universe...

Anyway, met up with CJ, TY and Yan sheng...den went to watch CJ concert... shall blog abt the CJ concert tmr... cause now really to tired liao... need a rest... do look forward to the post on the CJ concert... cause a lot of things happened... not to be missed!! Esp Cheng Jong... must come see ah!!

Haven blogged for a pretty long time already... cause pretty busy for the past few days... actually the schedule has been the same for the past few days... its like reaching home at 7 plus pm, den bathe and dinner, den daze at the Yahoo homepage of the computer screen with absolutely no where to surf.... den have my facials done, den the irky cream... in between making a few calls, and a little teeny bit of tv... after that I would just lie in bed and start studying... den fall asleep, den study, den fall asleep again... den study again... this would go on for a few times before I just get really tired of doing this, and I would just turn off the lights and just sleep... wad a cool way of wasting my precious nights away... today's slightly different... cause really feel guity for not blogging... dun wan to de-habitise this habit!! Hahah!!

Well, in 7 hours time, my band camp will officially begin... well not really that looking forward to it... well at least the beginning part, where its 2 whole hours of PT (= absolute torture) and some other activities (= more torture)... after that combined band practice and followed by more games, including wet ones... thinking whether I shld bring along a bottle of hair gel, cause going for CJ concert after that... everything's not settled yet... still haven received my ticket yet... den dunno wad time meeting CJ to go CJ concert... really hope that the games wun be too physically demanding and not too vigourous and wet, cause I really dun want to appear for CJ's concert looking and smelling like a complete wreck... haiz... this is bad!!!

Well, shall talk more about today... or rather the day that had just passed 1 hr plus ago...

Had Bio lecture in the morning... Mrs Khoo was going at top speed today... had tons to copy down... couldn't keep up with her pace... think she was pretty upset about the comments made on the side row of the LT... think these people very insensitive... shldn't have just booed her liddat... after all she is taking her fre time to teach us, we shld be nice....

After that had 4 hrs break...wanted to use it to revise for the full length chem prac... budden think I too complacent already... so din get to study much even thou it was a 4 hour break... Soo Chin had booked a slot with Mr Lim during the break... I wented to listen for a while too... actually din wan to one... cause din prepare well for it... summore got chem to study... budden still listened in the end... after that we (SF, SC, Joyce and me)had a long chat with Mr Lim... pretty interesting chat.. found out a lot of stuff... pretty philosophical too... made me reconsidered my career choices... now in a dilemna... shld I go for practicality or interests?? But my interests cannot sustain my dreams... but I may lose my dreams if I do not follow my interests... summore wad can I do with such wierd interest?? Hahah.. summore think doing something that I dun like is pretty bad... just like now.. forcing myself to study subjects that I totally cannot stand (= science)... really wondered how it would be like if I were taking humanities now...would I be better off??

Well anyway, we had our conversation at the stone table near the atrium... for those who thinks that that area is a bad place for studying, they are wrong!! In fact, think that the stone table area is the best place that I would like to be in NJC already... its bright, breezy and open!! So no more havin to take in stale air and looking under dim light... summore we can be as loud as we want and its alright!! But think ppl sldn't go there to study, cause if not next time it would be hard for us to find places to sit there next time already!! Hahah!

Anyway, the four of us were discussing about dialect stuff after that... Teo chew VS Hokkien... the trio thinks that I sould very gentle when I speak in teo chew... in contrast to their hokkien... think that wad they say was quite true... cause hokkien is really very crude!! Hahah... but its nice also lah... cause its pretty easy to understand them... cause maybe due to similarities in the 2 dialect... think that being able to converse in dialect is really very cool!! Think shall converse more in dialect next time, since it makes me more gentlemanly.... hahah!!

Well chem prac was absolutely horrible!! Couldn't remember a single thing that I memorised... summore felt pretty weak... due to the fact that I only ate minimal stuff hours ago... anyway, the planning experiment was a total flop... din even understand the qn... QA was equally bad... lost my focus towards the end... so gave up on certain stuff.. cause really too exhausted already... by the time the prac ended, I was totally exhausted... couldn't even speak properly already... just felt like a total wreck... hahah... anyway, the class's invigilator wasn't Mr Gwee, it was Miss Aw... she was very nice... cause she allowed those who wear specs to not wear goggles... this shld be the way mah... wearing goggles over specs is just so wierd lor... summore changed the shape of my glasses... speaking of that, think must go Wen Dtin's cousin's shop soon to fix my glasses... anyway after that was Mr Low (aka Woodlands friend)... he was really great too... volunteered to help me find chemicals on the bench top... and even helped people to pack up their stuff... such a nice teacher lor!! Summore his speaking style makes the whole lesson seemed way more interesting... think that he is a very good chem tutor...

After that really too exhausted already... so took bus with WK, SF, SC and Joyce (see, contradicting myself again)... took the bus all the way to Choa Chu Kang... hahah... den after that went to Lot 1 to shop for a while (really a while only lor!!)... almost certain I would meet somebody there.... cause most of my mum's relatives stay in Choa Chu Kang...

Okie... too tired to blog already... having a bad headache from studying chem... summore still haven fin the chapter I was reading... anyway, hope I will get to enjoy myself later lah!!

Wow!! Great show!! It was so exciting!! Righ tfrom the start till the end... wonderful!! Summore the delegate that I supported was crowned Miss Universe! This is like the first time in my life that some1 I supported right from the start won the competition!! Great job, Miss Australia!!

It was really a superb show... Miss Australia was really great... so different from the rest of the delegates... think she really won over the judges during the swimsuit competition... she carried herself really confidently... althou she din answer her question really well, think she still deserves to be the winner...

However feel quite sad for Miss USA... she seemed so genuinely nice and she was really pretty too.. and I think she answered her question really well... and she plays the violin and the piano!! So talented!! Unlike Miss Australia, who likes to windsurf... which is not really somethin that I really like... and she is one of the only 2 who din graduate from a university out of the 15 delegates chosen from the 80 over hopefuls of the crown...

Well anyway, I really loved the theme song in the background... very nice!! The 2 hosts were wonderful too... esp Billy Bush.. who was the host for Miss USA 2004 as well... great show!! Really hope that there will be a repeat for the show... den can watch it all over again!!!

Listening to "Perfect Day' now... finally got "Miracles Happen" out of my head... always liked "Perfect Day"... in fact really liked Legally Blonde... hahah... well it may seem like a bimbo movie to some people, but it really holds a very deep meaning inside me... it was the exact driving force that made me study so hard for my O levels... I was really motivated by that show... it made me want to realise my dream of getting into NJC... if not, I think I would still be in AJC now... so now everytime when I feel down or when I dun feel motivated enuff to study, I will watch that show... think I have watched the show more than 30 over times already... hahah!!

Well... just finished my econs MCQ... cause need it for tmr's tutorial... think tmr will be a really boring and long day... have 3hrs of Econs lessons, which I think will take a really really long time to pass... and then have to wait for another 3 hrs before I can have my make up Bio practical... haiz... I am always very bad at bio prac lor... dunno how to look at cell slides lor... very stressed whenever I see people producing such beautiful cell diagrams and I produce rubbish... haiz...

Yesterday while I was on msn, decided that I shall msn by ex teacher... cause she added me to her contact list but I think that she must have forgotten that that wierd email address belongs to me... so decided that I shall make the first move... true enuff she didn't noe it was me... budden after I told her it was me, we started chatting a little... den suddenly something came across me... cause she was from HCJC and she took LEP and was in the late 20s... seems pretty familiar rite?? Exactly like Mr Lim!! So asked her if she knew him... sure enuff she did!! Realised they were ex jc classmates... think can try to dig out a little of her info from Mr Lim next time...

Yesternight somethin happened... resulted in some complications... dunno wad to do also... everythin's so complicated in jc... subjects, tutorials, exams, even relationships... hope tmr is a better day...

Well, shall look on the brighter side of life... Miss Universe 2004 is showing tonight!! So exciting!! Can't wait for the telecast... have been watching Miss World and Miss Universe annually ever since I was young... really enjoyed it a lot... seems somewad like a yearly routine now... have to watch it!! 55 more mins to go...

I am determined to put this episode behind me. Done all the things I could already... removed everything... suddenly feel very wierd now... but guess I am supposed to feel better right? Maybe lor... but with every thing happening around me, how am I goin to do that? Think for now I will just focus on studies... nothin else...

Chatting with Tzyy Yih right now... sometimes wished things could go on as smoothly as in secondary school... JC life is horrible.

So... this is my new blog... feels really wierd rite now... like just moved into a new home... well at least the walls aren't transparent anymore... hope I will like it over here..

Hahah... been kind of busy lately... so couldn't blog entries as long as before... so shall make up for it by writing a long entry today!! Think will take me another 1 to 2 hours to type again... hahah!! Anyway, in the morning was talking to Soo Chin and Shufen about blogs den realised that Soo Chin printed out a couple of my entries for Wen Dtin to read... den suddenly a thought came across me... maybe next time I can print out all my entries and create a book out of it... pretty cool right?? Think can be best seller!!

Okie... shall start all the way from the beginning... in the morning woke up at about 7am cause there's gonna be band prac at 9am... when I wore my specs, found that it was really uncomfortable... think its because the night before I fell asleep while watching "The Mummy returns"... den sorta bent my glasses... so spent like 15 to 20 mins trying to adjust back my glasses... din dare to bend too hard... cause the last time I tried to bend my glasses back to its original state, it broke... still pretty sad about it... cause it took me so long to get adjusted to that pair of frameless specs and less than 1 year later it broke... so had to get this pair of glasses, which is really uncomfortable!! It din fit my head the very first day I started wearing it... went back to the optician like 4 times in one week cause really cannot stand it... anyway, thats why I often had to take off my glasses during school time to relax my eyes... and the worst thing is that it always slips off!! Haiz... sometimes really wished I could get that pair of cool specs that I've like always wanted (think my clique shld noe)... but too ex lah... hahah!!

Okie anyway, after that went to school... reached school really early!! Reached at 8.25am... 35 mins before band started lor... summore the band room wasn't even open!! So had to wait outside the band room till Shuhui came... anyway, all the teachers had to attend a workshop... saw a lot of teachers going to the santuary... even greeted Mr Lim when he walked pass... anyway, the band room finally opened at around 8.30 plus... set up my instrument.. den realised that the condition of the instrument was worse than a few days back... now cannot play a lot of notes... A LOT!! Budden din bring my clarinet mouthpiece... so got stuck playing the instrument... thinking of playing the alto clarinet instead.. cause the part is relatively more challenging than the bass clarinet's part... so maybe this Sat can switch to an alto clarinet...

Had a long warmup session... played until my mouth got pretty tired... after that had sectionals... hahah always look forward to sectionals.. cause dun have to play mah... at first moved the section to the fountain area one... budden Miss Chua said that there was a psychometric accessment test for scholars... so had to move somewhere else... in the end went to the area outside the staffroom, the area where Miss Phua always meet the NE reps...as there were no proper chairs around so the section had to sit scatteredly... so the sectional was pretty hard to conduct... summore had to practice 2 new scores... pretty foreign to me, so made a few mistakes whilst conducting... really have to apologise to my section for stopping so that I can correct my own mistakes... hahah!! Summore haven conducted for weeks... so my whole arm really ached... wonder how conducters can conduct for such a long time without being tired at all...

After a while got called back to the band room... cause received complains that the band were too loud (confirm not my section)... after that had combined... got pretty pissed at something... so din really play too well... summore my instrument spoilt so made me more pissed... actually I wasn't very sure wad I was not happy about... just felt generally pissed... well anyway after that had a 15 mins break... managed to get myself some food to bring to the stone table to eat... den crapped with Shufen and Soo Chin...after that saw my grouping for the band camp... not really happy at my group... but its okie lah... cause the purpose of camps are for people to mix... althou I have to say I am really not very good at such stuff... pretty introvert... but once I get to know the person well I can start crappin a lot... so only have a small group of close frens...

Anyway, Mr Ho came shortly... think at 12 noon... den spoke about the alumni performance for the 35th anniversary school dinner at Swissotel... think its at 12 June... he had to pick out some of the J1s for the performance cause the alumni doesn't have enuff instrumentation... den he came to us (bass clarinet section) and said maybe one of us (me or Rachel) may have to perform... cause there are no J1 bass clarinetists... ah... so sian lor... that means have to practice the scores again... summore I cannot communicate with the alumni one lor... haiz... hope he will forget about the thing and dun ask me to perform...

The band practice ended late again lor... actually supposed to end at 1pm... den ended at 1.25pm... cause Mr Ho wanted to listen to "Highlights from Chess" so had to play for him... and he took this piece "celebrations" for us to play... so long!! 6 pages lor (but still not the longest that I have played... think longest was 9 pages... stretched to about 20 mins I think... but really enjoyed it.. cause got a lot of bass clarinet solos) ... play until so sian... summore the score really very chicken feat lor... can close one eye to play one... hahah... this is the advantage of playing a bass instrument... always no need to practice one... cause the scores are always so easy!! Anyway, the song wasn't really that nice... based on the name thot that it would be those majestic blockbuster pieces... after playing thot it sounded like those children songs!!

Rushed for chem lect after band... almost late lor... ran till I was sweaty all over... den realised that the OHT had really small words... so had to shift in front... budden still couldn't see very well... den copy until I got headache... and partly cause I din eat much for the whole of today... anyway think that sitting in the front of the LT is really good lor... cause very conducive for listening for lectures... think we should all sit more to the front next time for lectures lor!! All lectures I mean... ALL!!

Think Miss Aw's consolidation was pretty good... esp the tables... think it will really help in studying for food chem... after that Mr Gwee lectured on meat colours... had to turn to look at Royston when he started lecturing... cause Royston said he always had a headache every time Mr Gwee lectures... saw him putting his hand at the side of his head... still think he was faking... hahah!! Royston seemed to be in a streak of bad luck recently... com got attacked by viruses twice, had to reformat his com, summore his new phone was faulty and he got 'cheated' of his money (the phone incident)... hope his 'power of three' can help him this time round!! Hahah!!

After the lecture went to look for Mrs Khoo with Wen Dtin and Wee Keong... found out that she had left already... so couldn't ask her the question... den Wee Keong and Wen dtin kept on suaning me again... hahah!!

Following that, we went over to the rifle range for WK to retrive his target cards and took 852... WK very funny har... want to take DIFFERENT bus today... but in the end we all took 852 together... haiz... got cheated by them yet again to take the bus all the way to Yishun... argh!! I so soft hearted... always got 'blackmailed' by them... actually we wanted to drop down at AJC to go in for fun... budden at the last min we decided not too... cause too hum... worried that we would get caught and have our names sent back to school for disciplinary actions... anyway, WK was looking at my msgs and then he commented that the msgs that I send were all very formal, hardly any short hand... are my messages very formal?? I noe I dun use shorthand, cause I am scared that people wun understand my short forms ... esp after that super horrible embarrassing incident happened which still made me so pai seh up till now... like a horrible nightmare!! Except its worse... its real!! Anyway, I dun use shorthand when copying notes as well.. cause I am worried that I wun understand my own shorthand later when I revise... so I take a lot of time to copy my notes... But are my msgs very formal?? I think pretty okie wad...

Finally reached Northpoint... had lunch at BK with Wee Keong... Wen dtin wasn't there, cause she had to go shopping with her mum... den later went over to Popular... saw a lot of books that brought back nostalgic memories... like those secondary textbooks that I used to have...

Okie... got some problems that cropped up... think I am tearing down my blog... so treasure the last few entries that I am gonna post these few days...
