Haiz... just came back after going out with Ziyi... met him at about 5pm after my lessons ended... actually wanted to watch "Ella Enchanted" or "House of Flying Daggers", budden in the end din get to watch it, cause the former wasn't screening in Cineleisure whereas the CJ wanted to watch the latter, so we could not watch it by ourselves first (By the way, CJ couldn't go in the end cause he had some project gg on... ps me!!).

Well, as usual, the two of us walked again... walked from Somerset to Douby Ghaut... cause we wanted to have our dinner there... ended up in Long John Silvers.... pretty okie lah... food was alright, but cheap... den after that we sorta walked around the place a little, den we decided to walk to the Esplanade instead to try to catch the weekend free outdoor performances.

Have to sae that the performance tonight wasn't really that interesting... was a play about a flying pig or something... although most of the props used were puppets, but I somehow dun feel that the target audience were really children... cause I feel that there was some kind of hidden meaning inside... just felt that it was kinda thot provoking... althou I din really think too much after that...

Den went to the Esplanade library to see if there were any interesting shows gg on... however it was a disappointment... the dance area was showing some ballet instead of Riverdance (or similar)... so in the end decided to go eat ice cream instead... went over to Marina Bay... budden there weren't any ice cream shops around the area... den in the end we walked to Suntec City instead....chose Cafe Cartel... supposedly cheaper lah, budden it wasn't lor... wanted to get ice cream, but in the end we were so thirsty that we ordered some specialty Italian soda instead, plus a plate of potato wedges... din have much to do there, so decided to start doing my tys instead.... the integration of the area and volume was pretty hard... stuck at the very first question we attempted... called a number of ppl to ask... but it was unfruitful too... but as we did progressively, it got better and better.. so it was still not too bad overall...

After our supper, we decided to go home, cause it was pretty late already... so we walked over to City Hall... budden still very full, so Ziyi was very nice to follow my suggestion to walk to Douby Ghaut with me... althou it would meant that he would have to take a longer time to reach home...

So anyway, we just sorta walked a new route over to Douby Ghaut... it was this really eerie route along SMU construction site... it was really dark and the site was in a mess... very few streetlights and there were a couple of deserted buildings that looked really menacing... so we freaked ourselves a little (Just a little only hor!)...

Along the way we started to talk about our future plans... sorta discussed about wad we were going to take in university... most prob we would take business administration... den discussed which university would be better for the course... Ziyi said that the double degree course in NTU would take 1 less year than it would take NUS or SMU.. but I still like NUS leh... dunno if I would want to consider NTU... and the thing is that, we dun even noe whether if we really like biz-ad... wad if its different from wad we perceived it to be? I have already made a wrong choice choosing my present subject combination... I am really worried that if I chose the wrong major in future, I would do something that I wun like for my entire life...

After that we talked about frenship instead... it was kinda depressing to talk about frenship cause I have so few close frens... discussed the issue with the clique not too long ago... budden still feel pretty sad about it... actually Ziyi and I share the same sentiments... we realised that there were really so few frens that we kept in contact with since pri school (definition of close frens: those that I can still call without feeling wierd and still go out pretty often)... actually I can count using my fingers lor... not counting my NJ frens, I only have 3 close frens: Hui Chuan, Ziyi and Cheng Jong... finished 10 years of schooling and all I keep in very close contact with is like only 3 frens lor... Ziyi is not much better... he only has like a couple of frens, but some had already changed since JC, and now they are like so different from last time...

Just feel kinda sad about the whole frens thing... cause we feel that only school frens are the most reliable ones and the best ones, cause in the future when we go out to work in the corporate world (since we want to take biz-ad), we will never noe if the frens that we make are really ppl who genuinely likes us, instead of ppl who just want to noe us for their own personal benefits or gains... budden when we get older (like after late 20s), our school frens will all have their own personal lives to lead (like after they get married and have kids and stuff), and we are gonna lose contact with them... actually its quite true lah, cause even now we dun see many adults going out to town to walk and stuff... they just dun do such stuff anymore... most adults that we see are with their spouses... which brings us to the topic of spouses... we felt that it was really important to find a gf, cause if we still dun find one by late 20s, we can like forget about starting a family... cause its really gonna be pretty hard to find a compatible gf by then.... the thot of this scared me a little... if I still dun have a gf by late 20s, wad am I gonna do? Wad's the point of working when you cannot even have ppl to share with (besides my family)? Really depressing lor...

Which then brings us to the subject on teachers, cause I said I wanted to be a GP tutor... if I were to become a teacher, the choices that I have will most prob be limited to teachers in the school (provided that I still dun get a gf in university)... since I wun be able to have much life outside of school...long days will be spent in school and even if I have weekends to spare, who can I go out with, since only have a close circle of frens... I can't just possibly just go approach anyone on the streets and ask if I can befren them... ppl would think I am crazy... and anyway I would be too hum to approach ppl... so my life would get more and more lifeless... and the longer I teach in school, the less choices I will have, cause the new teachers entering the teaching career will get younger and younger, as I get older and older... so the chances of me getting attached will get lesser and lesser...

Even having good frens in school would be a tough job... Ziyi was just telling me that the teachers themselves are not that close at all, but they can still be able to interact and have lunch together and stuff... but once they get out of school dey wun go out together or something liddat, so its gonna hard to have close frens in school.. and in the end we still have to rely on our JC, sec and pri frens...whom I already have so little to start with, or other than that, I can go out with my gf, whom again, I dun even have one, and its gonna be so hard to find...

So this will end up in a vicious cycle... I would work for my life, and my time will be spent on all my students, and I wun have any fun outside of work once my frens all get married and have their personal lives outside, and I will just get lonelier and lonelier until I retire and get detached from society... would I really want to have such a life? Its so unimaginable lor... so really have to consider if I would really want to be a teacher...

Guess this is the reason why I dun feel like studying anymore... since I can only foresee a bleak future ahead of me... den wad's the point of studying so hard for??

Anyway, after that we reached Douby Ghaut, but we still have not finished our chat, so Ziyi decided to take NEL with me till Seng Kang, where he could take some bus to Bedok... budden when we reached Seng Kang, we realised that we had already missed the last bus by 10 mins... so no choice had to find a taxi.. budden it was still before midnight, so there were little taxis around (more would appear after 12 cause there would be some surcharges after midnight)... so we sorta ran around the entire estate to find a taxi willing to ferry us home... in the end we finally found one and brought me home... after that Ziyi still had to continue to take it home... poor him... hahah... hope he wun be too pissed about that!!

Wah lao!! Wad's this man... how come I always have to be the one to clean up messes one... just found out at like 8.15pm today that all classes have to come up with some NE poster for National Day... from Mr Lim... and I only noe cause I asked... if I din even bother to ask, I wouldn't even have known that there would be the poster thing...

This is so disgusting lor... in other classes, the teachers have told the class like days, or even weeks before about the poster, and so many classes have already completed the work... and my class? Not a single person has been informed about this lor... and we were still led to believe that we have to come up with some skit for the school, which in fact, is work for JC1s only... and up till now, I still dun have the details on wad to do... cause no one bothers to tell me wad to do..... am I like responsible to find out wad to do? No one even told me there was something to do lor!!

How am I going to do it without knowing anything? I dunno whether its supposed to be a collage or painting... I dunno the size of the canvas, I dunno the exact theme... I just noe I am supposed to come up with some poster... how last minute can this be? Received the news today (only after I asked for it) and supposed to complete it by tmr... still need to find places where I can laminate it... this is so sickening man!!

It was always been like this lor... several occasions ago, I had to like stay up for the entire night to find out the incident that happened on the birthdays of every single person in class... all 25 of them lor!! And the incidents had to happen in Singapore... imagine the tough time I had trying to do it lor... took me the entire night lor... researched until I got so sick and vomitted a couple of times lor... and after that I found out that it wasn't even compulsary at all!! Waste my efforts lor!! Den the racial harmony thing... no one wanted to participate, den end up I have to do it again... still had to travel down all the way to Tampines to get the stuff that the class needed for racial harmony... took me close to 2 hrs just to travel by bus lor... wasted so much of my time... I really wonder why I am doing all these for the class lor... if I still dunno wad I am supposed to do by tmr, den I am not gg to do it. Thats it!

Wow... this is really a very eventful week... so many things happened... almost cannot catch my breath already!!

Monday
Racial Harmony Day. Had to bring lots of stuff to school, like the bindis and the bangles and the henna material to school... den had to meet the class in the canteen to distribute them... but all din want to wear the bindis lor... had such a hard time trying to persuade them to wear... but in the end there were like more than half the class who wore them... really appreciate their efforts!! Feel pretty rewarded as the NE ambassador of the class!! Mr Gwee was really sporting as to provide his hands for the henna design... feel pretty bad actually, cause the henna designs were not really that presentable... so think he has to like hide his hands for 1 week... but also hope that our class can score more points for the house!!

Stayed till like 9pm that day, cause WK, SF, SC and me wanted to stay in school to complete our work... think that it was a really good idea, cause I really managed to finish like most of our work... so it was really very rewarding to see myself doing so much without using the phone, TV and computer... think shld stay back more often... only bad thing is that I got really hungry towards the night, so guess next time shld have a hearty dinner first before that first.

Tuesday
Hahah... yet another eventful day. Something happened that made people not exactly very happy... but everything was just a miscommunication, and really glad that everything has been cleared up, and everyone is as happy as ever!! That is if you count our normal lives as happy.. which is not exactly so.. hahah!

Took the bus with WK, Wen Dtin and Esther... den traveled to AJC... cause WD wanted to pass something to her fren... so we just sort of stood outside AJC and waited... came up with a lot of 'plans'... but in the end din really work lah, cause WK was too stiff in his acting already.. hahah... anyway, after that we went over to Yishun to have dinner... poor me, had to travel with them despite the fact that I can take a 15 min bus ride home from AJC... on the way home, saw Joel and Eric (can refer to my previous post)... was pretty awkward at first, cause we din really talk much... but towards the end we started chatting... sorta made me miss the Cat High band people, esp the clarinet section...

Wednesday

So embarrassing!! Due to Soo Chin's over enthusiastic hype about my gf, I got totally made fun of in class... it was really a very scary experience I must say... but really funny too... hahah!! Have to say that its quite different from the past civics sessions... anyway, when I said that the dang shi ren commented that she will not see NJCians again on my previous blog, thot she really will do that. But apparently she seemed pretty enthu about it now... (just scroll down to the Saturday section)

Anyway, took the same bus as Jian Xiang... talked for quite a lot... about school and soccer (yes, soccer) and other stuff... after that I took a new route home... think that was pretty spontaneous... so maybe shall go home via that way more often!

Thursday

Nothing much happened on Thursday... it was like the most peaceful day of the week... had a very enjoyable tennis session with the class... even stayed back after school to continue playing for a while... den after that took the bus with Wen Dtin and WK... hahah... pretty interesting lah... so nice of WK... willing to take 852.. hor WK??

Friday

Went out with WK, CJ, Ziyi and someone else... think it was a spontaneous decision by the person... we were all pretty surprised lah... but its okie actually, since CJ, Ziyi and I seldom plan about where to go and stuff... so its like we go out without any aims. Pretty good lah actually, cause liddat dun have to worry about last min problems or anything. Anyway, talking to him prompted me to think about my future.. Think I can like look at his point of view... it like when you are of a certain age, and all your frens are married or have their own personal lives, and you are still single and have not much frens... and you dun do much outside of wad you usually do... its really pretty depressing...

When I just changed school last year, I was sorta like in this kind of situation... everyone got separated into different schools and din really have much time to keep in touch with each other. It din help that I got posted to this class where everyone hates me and dun even bother to include me in the class or something... it was really bad, cause I can't really talk to anyone... and at home, when I have the urge to call people, I would pick up the phone, and then realised I dun have any1 to call... it was really very bad...

But luckily Ziyi and CJ could still go out with me like every weekend, so it was not so bad.. but I was lucky, cause I could get out of that class and go to NJC, where the class is like so so nice, and I have really supporting frens... but others are not so lucky... so I guess I can understand his situation, cause I have sorta been thru such a situation... and I must sae, its really not a good experience!!

So hope that everything can go well lah!!

Saturday

Saturday was the band's V night... at first thot that it would not be really that fun... but I was wrong... it was really very fun!! Had a lot of fun taking Esther and Anusha around the school blindfolded (not me, them!)... they just kept on screaming and stuff, cause we kept on playing pranks on them... really very interesting! Den later there was a catwalk segment... also very funny to see the JC1s being paired up... really have to thank my section of giving me those gifts, esp the photos... really touched by them...

After that, went over to the NJCO concert.... have to sae that it was really very nice... they played very well.... congrats to all the members of the CO!! Saw a lot of teachers over at the concert... like Mr Chin, Mrs Lim, Mr Yeo, Mr Neo and Mr Lim... the school staff was so supportive lor... at the NJ band concert think only a few teachers went...

After that went over to Lau Pat Sat with Ferleen, HC and WK... saw Mr Lim and other Maths teachers yet again... really very surprised to see them... after our supper, we walked all the way to the Esplanade... talked a lot along the way... pretty interesting... hahah!!

I did a really bad thing after that unintentionally ... was waiting for the MRT after CO concert in City Hall to go to Marina Bay so that we can go back to the North from there... den an elderly couple approached us (me, WK and ferleen) to ask how to go to Toa Payoh via the MRT... so I told them to take the train that goes to Marina Bay, cause they can sit for the entire journey... budden after that Ferleen realised that we could not take that train, cause it would terminate in Marina Bay... so we ran up to catch the last North bound train... when we were on the train we suddenly realised that the old couple were still waiting on the train that would terminate in Marina Bay... but too late already, the door closed and left.. I felt so bad lor.... so called to check out the no for the Marina Bay MRT station... kept calling but just no one answered... felt so bad lor... den when I was in the cab later, called again... and finally the call got thru.. the station manager was very nice... offered to check out the platform... but there was no one there... but he assured me that they would be safe... but I still felt very bad lor... so decided I shall be nice and help anyone in need of help on Monday... yah... so if anyone needs my help, just come approach me!!

Wah... so tired right now... just came back from the NJCO concert.. have to sae that it's one of the most interesting CO concerts I have been to... which adds up to not a lot... anyway, a lot of stuff happened for the past 2 days...but really too tired to blog about it right now... think I gonna sleep now, den blog tmr morning... do look forward to reading my interesting blog tmr!!

Wah... utter embarrassment today!! Really really felt so pai seh during the first period lor... all because of that stupid photo... I was utterly humiliated!! All the hype about my gf... really find it very funny lor... hahah!! Anyway, told the dang shi ren about the incident liao... she seemed more embarrassed about it than me... said she will not step into NJ again... at least not when familiar faces are around... so there goes my chances of trying to get her to come to NJ on Friday... but think it would be very very wierd if she gets seen by others... really cannot imagine!! Think she not gg NJCO concert already also... hahah... but its not my fault hor!!

But pretty looking forward to the Friday meeting with CJ, Ziyi and WK... think it would be really fresh and interesting... but dunno WK will get used to our slack attitude when it comes to going out... rite WK? But too bad must wait for him till 4.30pm... but its okie... promised him liao mah... so must keep the promise!!

Anyway, the class was discussing wad to watch for civics next week... almost wanted to recommend watching Alegria or Varekai or Lord of the Dance or Riverdance... think that the class will just get a shock lor... cause I actually like such arty shows... but got servant leader qualities wad... can imagine the class dumbfounded when they see the show lor...hahah!!

After school had to stay back for a talk by MOE... whilst waiting actually got CJ to come to school lor... very nice of him... but he got to taste the very nice hor fun that the school sells...summore got people serve him lor... so think its pretty worth it... anyway CJ still managed to see some1 lor...hahah!! Den he stayed with us till about 2.40pm... the talk by MOE was pretty informative... think maybe I can really consider teaching next time... den can teach like GP or English or humanities in future... guess that would be pretty fun!! Den can go back to my alma materto teach... like Cat High or even NJ... that is provided that I major in English in future... oh.. just realised that with a Business degree all you can teach is primary school science, maths, and English... which is really pretty useless.. but if I take mass com, den I can teach English at secondary level or GP at JC level... hahah... so think maybe can consider...

Anyway, reached home pretty early today... like at about 4 plus... den managed to catch Eureka TV!! Pretty interesting show today... talked about the science of bubbles, how atoms give rise to different colours, recombinant dna stuff... pretty fascinating... think I really have wierd taste lor... cause this show is aimed for primary school people to watch... but I still watched it... summore still like it a lot lor.. den after that watched the really funny comedy... finally found out the name of the show already... "Married to the Kellys"... very nice sitcom!! Its about this guy who married this women and then went to stay with the girl's family.. something liddat lah... really funny show... den after that watched Hi-5... think I really getting wierder... actually started to watch such kiddy shows.. and enjoying it as well... think I really bo liao lor... next time better stay back in school to study... den dun have to waste so much time on TV... anyway, slept for pretty long just now... so guess I shall now go study liao... hahah!!

Eventful day today.... but the stuff that happened were pretty much the bad stuff... Alene fell sick mid-school, so had to accompany her to the staff room to collect the blue slip... after that, had to accompany her out of school and had to flag down a cab for her... hope that she is feeling better right now... following that, had to rush for lunch... really had to finish up our food in a really short period of time... and because of that, WK had some stomach problems later during econs... think its indigestion... he almost had to take a blue slip... but in the end he didn't. Poor him, tmr is his major competition and yet today he wasn't in good condition.

Felt really tired during GP lesson... almost fell asleep lor... dun like the schedule for Tues' GP lesson... always feel very lethargic... kept on shutting my eyelids... and I was like just sitting in front of the teacher... hope she din realise it... feel really bad about it.... but I was really really tired... but halfway thru the lesson when I really closed my eyes, I suddenly 'jumped'... just sorta jerked a little... so embarrassing!! Hope no one noticed that... have to try to keep myself awake during Tues' GP next time...

Chem lesson was really quiet and kinda stagnant... and besides the occasional questions from the class, it was really silent. Hope that the matter settles for now, and everyone can proceed from here. Sounds pretty cliche I noe.

Anyway, after that went to Anderson JC with WK, WD and Est. Waited outside the school for WD's fren... saw a couple of frens... like Stephanie, Wei Seng, the flute guy, the S7 CO guy from Cat high and Wanyu. Also met up with HC... too bad she couldn't leave CO, so cannot go home with her... after that went to Northpoint with the 3 of them and WD's fren... a bit awkward lah... but still alright... den had dinner over there...

After that took 72 home, and I actually saw Joel lor!! And Eric (the clarinet/alto clarinet guy) too... sorta surprised that he still recognised me... I couldn't really recognise him at first, think cause he changed his hairstyle... and anyway, had a bit of chat with them... den finally reached home... so tired now... think I will take a nap now lah... den wake up later to study...

Wah.. so tired right now... left school today at 9pm lor... cause the clique wants to stay back in school to study, with the extension of the library hours with effect from today (Monday). Although I was really tired and hungry, I must say that studying in the library is much more effective than studying at home... cause there are tons of distraction at home, such as TV programmes, The Internet, computer, phone etc... anyway, there is just something that can distract me all the time...

So got to do quite a lot of stuff today (Monday)... actually just chem lah, but its a lot of chem... and I was really proud of the fact that I noe how to do the questions and at last have a bit of knowledge wad is going on for chem.. hahah... Anyway, after that my dad fetched me and the rest home... drove them to Causeway Point, den took me home... by the time I finished bathing and eating it was already like 10 plus pm already... after that had a long chat with HC and Ziyi... argh... just feel very embarrassed by everything, and I think I am becoming such a rude person... think I must try to change my bad attitude... hahah... anyway, its just super embarrassing and stupid... HC laughed like mad lor... Ziyi thot it was pretty entertaining too... anyway, shall not talk abt that anymore... really need go sleep liao.. so tired... cannot even prevent my eye from shutting... see ya!!

Dunno wad's wrong with my blog... the recent posts all look so wierd on the page... sorry ppl, I will try to get rid of this problem asap... meanwhile do continue to read my blog... and con't tagging!! Anyway, I really like my blog music leh... very nice... listened to it for like 40 over times consecutively for the past few hours already.. really very nice... hahah!!

Wah... just reached home lor... so late!! Cause of the racial harmony
thing on Monday lor... the class (aka Jacqueline) wanted to wear
bindis, den my junior told me that decorative bindis can only be found
in Little India... that is like how far lor... den today Kelly told me
that she's not going down to Little India already.. so in the end had
to do everything myself again...



Luckily at 4 plus HC told me that she was at Little India, cause she
was on her way home from tuition... so got her to help me to get the
stuff that I need... den left home at about 6 plus pm to go Tampines to
get from her... it was a 40 mins trip lor... so long!! It wun even take
me 40 mins to reach Little India lor... but I prefer Tampines lah...
more fun... den met up with Tzyy Yih first, den we went to Spotlight
for some inspirations for Teacher's day... cause I procrastinate too
much, so I rather plan this thing earlier so I wun have to do last min
stuff again...



Den after that met up with HC so that she could pass me the stuff that
I need... she really got the things that I needed... but some of the
bindi designs are really very elaborate... dunno the people in the
class willing to wear or not... and the designs all have 'gems' on
it... so dunno whether the guys in my class would want to wear or
not... I have no choice lah, must wear, cause I am the NE ambassador
wad... den the things I buy one, so have to set example... but
hope the class will wear lah, after all I took so much trouble to
get it, the least the class can do is to appreciate wad I did... but if
the designs not to ur liking cannot blame me hor, I din choose them...
summore HC still bought 48 bangles for me, so every girl in the class
must wear hor!!



Anyway, after that we were pretty hungry, so decided to go for
dinner... at first wanted to go Kenny Rogers... den in the end HC kept
on suggesting Cafe Cartel (althou I had a feeling that it would
be really ex) and I have nv been to Cafe Cartel, so in the end we went
there... saw the main course going for $10.90 onwards and another $3.90
for a drink , soup and free flow of bread...calculated a bit.. thot it
was pretty ex, budden decided to eat for the experience... but when the
receipt came I had a shock lor... I actually ordered $20 worth of food
lor... den realised that the main course was $10.90 onwards.. I ordered
something that costed $15.90, plus drinks and GST, came up to more that
$20 lor... and the serving was like super huge!! I really could'nt
finish it lor... in fact I couldn't finish a lot!! It was really
gigantic... even like after 3 hours I am still so full...



After dinner it was like 10 plus already... so really had to go home...
by the time I reached home it was like 11 plus already... really very
tired lor... think have to do a lot of hw tmr... long boring Sunday!!

Yoz, so tired right now... on the train with CJ... really jam packed...but luckily found seats, so could use his notebook to blog now, but toobad cannot upload now, so need him to help me upload later...

Anyway, haven't updated for such a long long time already!! Ever since last Monday... cause wasn't really in a very good mood to blog... failed a lot of subjects as usual... anyway, I have dropped bio liao, cause really cannot cope with the stress of taking 4 A level subjects... hope that I have made a right decision, cause I have really thot over it for
such a long period of time already, and have consulted like tons of people over this matter...bet many must have found me extremely naggy and indecisive... so my sincere apologies and heartfelt thanks to all!!

type very fast... okie... think I have to stop here for now... later when I reach home den I continue blogging...

Okie, Cheng Jong was really nice, decided to stay and take all the way to YCK station so that I can continue blogging... Just went out with CJ and Ziyi just now... met them at about 5.30pm at Somerset station and began our long walk... overall think we walked for like almost 10km for the entire day.... Went to so many places...from Somerset station to
Orchard station, den to Somerset, den Douby Ghaut, den City hall... went pass a lot of places too... like Wisma Atria, Plaza Singapura, Takashimaya, Cineleisure, Lido, Suntec City, Raffles City, City Link, some church, NTUC building, Istana Park, John Little, Centrepoint, Orchard Emerald, the Orchard carpark night eatery, the old Art Museum,
Chijmes, Bras Basah, the new SMU, Hotel Rendezvous, Ritz Carlton Hotel and a lot a lot of places... really so exhausted after going to all these places... walked for like an hour from Somerset station to City Hall... so surprising how we can just walk and walk for such a long time, and yet still continue walking although we were all complaining about how tired we were...actually CJ wanted to go to Funan City... budden we walked for so long and we figured that by the time we reached there, all the shops would have been closed, so we din go there in the end...poor CJ... cannot go buy his games... Think today still not too bad lah... cause at first din even want to go out... den suddenly just called Tzyy Yih at about 4 plus pm and asked if he wanted to go out.. den he called CJ and see if he wanted to go out... den we just met...and did everything impromptu... really not bad… kinda like a good surprise lah... and althou we din get to watch any movies, it was still pretty fun to have walked such a long distance...and we really get to talked a lot... and made fun of each other...

Okie... really got to stop here... cause we already reached YCK station already... den need to catch the bus to go home... actually we reached the station long ago liao... budden CJ allowed me to stay in the station to complete my paragraph...so nice of him!! (I was forced to say that) So I will continue blogging after I reached home...

Finally in the comfort of my own home!! Really tired now... cause it has been one hectic day. Had wanted to go over to Little India just now to get the henna stuff and the bindis, however, Ziyi and CJ didn't want to go there, so ended up we met up at Somerset station and did the above stuff lah...

Anyway, I was like reading some blogs just now... actually it was Fiona's friends' blogs, and then it sorta dawned onto me that kids these days are so different from kids from my era... well at least they are different from me... their posts on the blogs actually circulates
around crushes, love, and 'enemies'... pretty surprised by their thinking... yes, I do have crushes when I was in primary school, but I dun go around telling everyone abt all these stuff, and it was like so innocent last time, we just mail letters to one another and stuff, its like so different now!! Primary 6 also have BGRs already... I am like in J2 and I am still single lor... So daring, kids nowadays... hahah... really cannot treat them as kids already!!

Wah... so long never blog also dun really noe wad to sae now... feels pretty foreign already... hahah... oh.. I am like terribly humiliated by the entire class for the past one week or so... shall not elaborate, but it was really so embarrassing for me... but I am not really angry abt it lah, cause the class is like so stressed recently, and if this can provide an avenue for them to de-stress, den I guess I have to sacrifice a bit lah... no choice lah, class clown mah!!

Have been out pretty often for the past week... went to North Point on last Friday with Wee Keong cause he needed to go Safra... we even had a nice walk cause I was in a walking mood... den after that went to meet Shufen and Caitian... pretty interesting lah... den on Saturday met up with Hui Chuan at Queenstown cause she needed to get some contact lens solution... den I got myself a shoe bag (which was partly subsidised by her)... den we even went to Orchard to walk... reached home like so late lor... Sunday met up with Royston at Hougang Point, cause he went to his grandma's place in Hougang... he was very jian lor... made me waste so much money on food den dun wan to study with me... he really very jian lor, just like Dave... hahah... just joking lah...

Had my AGM on Wednesday... finally got thru it!! Dun have to play for morning assembly already... at least can sleep for a while more... but think will miss the band, esp my section, since they are really nice people... hope they can improve on the band and make it better!

Okie lah... tired already... want to go sleep liao... if I can think of anything else to write den I will do it tmr (I mean later) lah... wah, really need to go sleep liao... see ya!!

Hahah... went out for the entire day to mark off the end of the holidays for me... for like the next 2 plus years... no more long holidays already...

Anyway, met up with Tzyy Yih at 9am in Chinatown to eat the curry chicken noodles that I've always liked... budden Tzyy Yih din think it was that fantastic... I felt that it was great... but not as good as before... dunno why too.. today's noodles just dun taste as good as normal... hahah...

Anyway, he just kept complaining that I spoilt his day by letting him eat an awful breakfast... althou it was pretty tasty to me, and kept on commenting that we have like opposite tastes... hahah... so had to like 'scold' him back in german crude words.. hahah... pretty funny lah, cause we used to learn how to scold others in german last time during our lessons... but it was really nothing crude lah... something like 'stupid cow' or 'crazy monkey' only... hahah... but Tzyy Yih deserves it lah... hahah!! Not really scold lah... just saed that jokingly... this is wad happens when we go out together... really pretty funny...

After breakfast, we walked from Chinatown station to City Hall station... it was a really long walk... went pass some commercial buildings and then walked passed the Supreme Court, had wanted to go in for court-listening, but din go in the end, cause too hum after seeing the police... anyway, we also walked past hong kong street, law society, parliament house, VCH, some bridge, parliament cafeteria, padang, City hall, Singapore Cricket and Recreational Centre, Esplanade, the area outside esplanade and finally Marina Square...

Over at Marina Square, we decided to watch a movie... and I picked "The Day After Tomorrow"... it had been showing for quite some time already... but I was always not free enuff to go, so decided to watch it.. Ziyi was very nice, although he had a lready watched the show, he still watched it again with me... the cinema was like so empty lor... the entire cinema only had 4 people... me, Ziyi and 1 couple.... really quiet lor... anyway, the show was really great... so impactful lor... budden the girl (in the couple) kept on laughing at the wrong parts... when I was like pretty taken aback or sad, den she started laughing... not really loud lah... but just... at the wrong parts...

Anyway, the show was superb!! Wonderful effects!! And I think that Sam's mother really acted her role very well!! Esp when she smiles, it really feels that she is genuinely happy, not just smiling for the sake of smiling...wad great acting skills!!

After the show, we went over to Suntec to eat, den walked around for a while... following that, we walked over to Millenia for a haircut... now my hair's really short... hahah...

Den after that, we walked back to Chinatown so that I could pass my mother something... it was a really long walk back... anyway, we finally reached Chinatown and after that I went home... the ride home on the mrt was really tiring... fell asleep immediately... summore I missed my stop... only woke up at Seng Kang station when some1 woke me up.. no choice had to take another bus home... and when I woke up, my legs were really painful lor... had to drag myself to take the bus... actually wanted to sleep on the bus, budden realised that they were showing Designer Guys on TVmobile, so I watched that instead... such an interesting show!!

Anyway, slept the moment I reached home... so now pretty awake... haiz, tmr's school as usual again... think will have a hard time falling asleep tonight... hope tmr's a nice day!!

Oh... just finished chatting with Tzyy Yih on the phone... cause had nothing much to do, so decided to call and chat with him... found out some interesting stuff about him... hahah...

Before that there was like totally nothin interesting on TV... so ended up watching this ballet dance on Arts Central... I have to sae that it was pretty spooky... there was this guy who had like black lipstick on him (think he is supposed to be the bad guy) in this forest, den this female dressed in a red flowing dress just appeared out of nowhere and flew (yes, flew) onto the stage... and then the red girl and the black guy started dancing around... and there were like a lot of girls and guys dancing around too... really spooky... and then the stage was like dark and yah, DARK.

Den in the last scene, the red girl just conjured a red glass ball out of nowhere and another guy broke it with his tree branch and then the black guy just died. Following that, the red girl den flew away (special effects) and the show ended. Without a single idea what happened to the rest of the people. Wad an ending!!

Anyway, I couldn't believed I just watched the entire show... it was like really boring... and the people were like just dancing and dancing and there was no dialogue at all... and the black guy looked really creepy... anyway, it was just plain creepy... I dun seem to get ballet dances at all... really creeped out by that show...

Luckily I was chatting with Tzyy Yih throughout the show, so it din seem so scary... and I happened to have found my secondary school German supplement textbook and so I was like practically reading out chunks of german phrases out of the book... bet he was totally bored out... but he said it sounded like French, not Thai... and he said it sounded quite fluent to him (cause he dun understand german at all)... hahah... but I can only like ban men nong fu... cause I would just malu myself if I were to converse with a german...

Hahah... shall list down some german phrases here...

- Jetzt schlafe ich noch 17 stunden.

Anyway, used to really dislike german alot, partly cause of the teacher lah, cause he was really biased.... and also because band always clashed with German, so I skipped a lot of lessons... now a bit regretted my decision to drop german... never mind lah, next time if I have the chance den can learn again lah!!

Anyway, went out with SC, SF, WK, Royston and Weibin in the afternoon, I was a little late lah... made WK wait for me for so long... sorry hor!! Den we went over to City Hall from Yishun... cause Yishun got nothing to shop lah... as usual along the way I got made fun of... haiz... wadever I sae they can link up with wadever lor... so absurb... haiz... even my clothes also got linked ... they have got such a good imagination...

So, we shopped around City hall lor, walked around Suntec City for most of the time... even went to the arcade... I like haven stepped into an arcade for 6 to 7 years already, and I dun think I missed it anyway... cause it was really loud... budden the people inside the arcade were really pro at the games!! So many combos and stuff... bet they must have practiced a lot... actually if every1 uses the time that they practice to study, den dey will sure get good grades in school (not that they are all scoring bad grades now... I wun noe, and not that those who dun go arcades will get good grades. A fine example: me.)... since studying takes practice too... but I am not in a position to sae this to them, cause I am equally bad in my studies and Iam not their dad or teacher... maybe just just needed to relax a little...

NB: I am not against arcades at all... everyone has their own mode of entertainment... for example I listen to Irish music, watch Circus shows and play my bass clarinet. Not all will have my interests too... in fact, I think none shares the same interest as me... Okie, I have a boring life.

Anyway, den we went to walk in Carrefour... I bought a lot of foodstuff... anyway, now already eat till 7788 already... okie, digressed. Yah, and then we all went back home... pretty interesting day lah... budden haven touched on my homework... so tmr I am going out with Tzyy Yih to Chinatown... to mug a little, and to eat the famous curry chicken noodles there, and then if got time, go for a haircut... cause my hair is really getting very long already... cannot stand it... hahah... think have to go sleep liao... waking up pretty early tmr.. see ya!!

Wow... just watched a really wonderful, superb show!! It was so sad and touching and emotional... was really very moved by the show... such a sad ending...

The show was called "Run the Wild Fields"... did not expect to watch the show at first... it just kinda happened that I just woke up (slightly before 12noon) and switched on my TV... den realised that "Conan the detective" had just ended... so decided to continue to watch on for a while... den this show started... at first already wanted to switch the channel already, cause it was those kind of old shows and din look very interesting... but the music made me continue watching on... cause it sounded a little Irish... very catchy... so I continued... and I wasn't disappointed at all..

So I shall try to capture the gist of the whole story in a few paragraphs... people please take some time to read the synopsis... its really good!!

The story was set in 1942 in this American town... the men in the families of the town had all been sent for war in the Japanese Occupation...

The story revolves around this family in a farm... Ruby (mother) and Opal (daughter), Ruby's husband (which is Opal's father) was sent to fight in the war...

One day, whilst Opal was in the fields of the farm, she stumbled upon a wounded man and Ruby brought him back to her house... and nursed him back to health... after the man (whose name is Tom)has recovered, Ruby gave him some of her husband's clothes and Tom left...

After that Ruby went into town to get some groceries and saw Tom being led into the police station... Ruby den found out that the police thot that Tom had stolen Ruby's husband's clothes... so Ruby cleared the misconception and said that Tom was her worker.... so the police released her and Ruby took Tom back home, and gave him a job (to work in the fields) and provided him with meals...

So that's how the story progressed... as time goes, Tom got closer and closer to the family and Opal (Ruby's daughter) grew really close to Tom... slowly and slowly the three became really close and was almost like family...

Den one day, Opal received a letter... she read it and was really very sad after reading it, and hid the letter (up till then the show still din show wad the letter was)...

Finally, on one occasion, the men finally returned... the war was finally over... however Ruby's husband still din return... so Ruby was starting to accept the fact that Frank (her husband) was never going to come back...

On that particular night, the entire town had a celebration... and Ruby revealed to Tom that she liked him a lot.. and they kissed... but that was all lah... den Tom stumbled upon the letter that Opal kept... the letter was actually from Frank... saying that the war was over and that he was delayed and would be coming back soon...Tom was really sad... and think wanted to go find Ruby... den Ruby realised she was really in love and decided to go find Tom (Tom stays in the barn beside Ruby's house)... budden Ruby stopped at the door... and Tom stopped at the door inside the barn... both stopped at the door and was like holding the door knob... but none opened the door... and in the end, Ruby went bac to the house and Tom went back to bed...

On the next morning, Tom went to find Opal, who was still in bed. Tom woke up Opal and asked why din she show Frank's letter to Ruby. Opal started crying and said that she din want her father to come back, cause she really liked Tom and wanted Tom to be her father... but Tom said it was impossible and that he had to leave already...

And so, Tom left quietly without bidding goodbye... following that Frank came home and the family was reunited... leaving Tom heartbroken...

So that was the end of the story... really sad lor... think Tom was really ill fated... he could not even be together with his only "family"... and he couldn't be with the one that he liked... and Opal din get to see Tom ever again... and they really had such a good time together... and Ruby also loved him too... so all of Tom's hopes and dreams were shattered... even the town grew to accept Tom in their lifes... at first the entire town thot he was an ex-convict who robbed a bank or something... budden in a twist of event, they realised that he was actually a war hero of America...

Still feel very sad for Tom... the last scene showed that he was going home, but he had lost most of his family in the war, and he gave his beloved ring to Opal... haiz... really a very sad story...people if you have the time, must really go watch it!! Great show!!

Pretty tired right now... went out from early afternoon all the way till night... met up with HC and Tzyy Yih over at Orchard cause HC said she wanted to get some skirt... den we kinda like went to Heeren and Far East... but in the end she din manage to find one... took us quite some time... cause we were like chatting a lot and din really shop lah...

After that went over to Suntec City and slacked... spent our time at this cafe and chatted... den went over to Carrefour to buy some groceries.. by then it was near 7 already... and HC had to leave first... den Tzyy Yih and I went over to meet up with Cheng Jong, Junhao and Yan Sheng, whom just watched a movie... and then we had dinner... after that went to walk around a bit... went over to Courts, where I looked at some plates and bowls and cutlery... very nice plates... den some were on display on tables... fully set.. think its really nice... in future I will also set my table liddat, with all the accessories... think looking at furniture really fun... always like to go to such places... think maybe next time can become furniture designer or interior designer...

Along the way tzyy yih and I were playing the "recognise our frens" game... were trying to find frens that we noe... pretty interesting... in the end I won... 5 to 4... hahah...

Wah... so tired right now!! Went out for the whole day lor... anyway, slept at 3 plus am yesternight... cause was mugging for chem... realised that I din study for a lot of stuff... so had to mug till so late...

Anyway, there were like so many questions that I had absolutely no idea how to do... think I din noe like all of them... sure get lowest in class AGAIN... haiz... forever stuck in the vicious cycle of F... summore I studied most for chem lor... still liddat... I am such a poor science student lor...

Summore embarrassed myself during exam lor... did something really stupid... felt so paiseh in front of Mr Gwee lor... he was laughing at me lor... still tell me next time better learn first... but I was really unsure mah...cannot blame me... haiz....

Anyway, went out with WK, SF, SC, Joyce, Wen Dtin and Esther after that... went over to takashimaya... I actually broke something over there lor... den the salesperson made me pay for the breakage... ad she was like pretty rude... said "You must pay"... bad service... anyway, I paid lah... no choice wad...

After that we had lunch and then we shopped for a while and went over to the esplanade... as usual we watched Michael Flatley's Feet of Flames... but this time not a lot of ppl watched... cause they all very tired... so left like me watching only lah... but dun blame them at all, cause I was the one who dragged them there and wasted their time... so I was actually the root of the problem... feel pretty guilty...

Anyway, later we went over to the sea side and we sorta just relaxed over there.. den later we walked over to Lau Pat Sat for dinner... pretty interesting walk lah... but felt rather guilty again... cause made them walk the long way... but it wasn't intentional... I really very lousy at recognising routes lah...

After that went home with the rest... den decided to detour over to Kovan to rent some shows... by the time I reached there it was like 8 plus pm lor... took me so long to reach there... den chose my stuff and left lor... decided to save the mrt fare and walk to the nearest 72 bus stop (which happens to be quite far away)... budden I just anyhow walked... walked this route whereby there were like no flats... only deserted old factory buildings... nobody around at all... din walk past anyone... only saw this guy standing right on top of this railing dunno for wad... den cars also so little, private estates vacant one... den so many trees and insects... really quite creepy... den I also dunno how, walked all the way to tampines road... hahah... den took a really long bus home... think I pretty stupid... wasted like almost an hour just to save on 35 cents...
